It’s a tough decision because free agency is on Monday and the draft isn’t for 6 weeks, and you don’t know how the board will fall.If this wasn't such an outstanding draft at the defensive tackle position, I would support this type of signing.
Getting a little overboard with the injury stuff. Find me 53 guys to make a football team that have played 8 years and don’t have an injury history, it’s a violent game. Hes missed 12 games in the last 7 years, hardly injury prone and just about all of those were last year with a torn peck, it happens. Much different from like an armstead who’s missed that in the last 3 years.

It’s a good point about our futurePass on Allen. Throwing money at guys who aren't the future would be criminally stupid for this organization.
If they don't address the position in this deep DT draft -- also stupid -- and he's still sitting there in the 2nd wave of FA with a much cheaper price tag ... then maybe but still not likely.
It’s a good point about our future
Unfortunately we have a regime on the hot seat and have to win this year.
Us fans lose

at least 5 of them will be at or beyond him outside of anything odd happening.Which one of them will be better than Allen?
He'll cost a lot and play 10 games a years. Grier is already on the phone I'm sure. And he has an injury history so he fits all requisite
