Dolphins should cut Chad Johnson.

Agreed ...wtf happened to Sean Smith ....I thought he was playing well in camp.

High praise for:
R. Wallace
J. Pruitt
BJ Cunningham
R. Matthews
D. Shelb y
J. Trusnik
C. Clay
and of course R. Tannehill

Add M MOORE to that list, while subtracting CUNNINGHAM and MATTHEWS, and it's a deal!

MATTHEWS lacks the speed to be a force as a KR. And CUNNINGHAM's just too slow. I don't know a single starting CB that he could consistently beat, unless you count VONTAE and SMITH.

All I keep thinking about is Philbin talking about this offense and how you simply need to catch the ball in this offense. If you can count to four, you can play in this offense. If you dont catch the ball, your not much help to the team. YOU HAVE TO CATCH THE DAMN BALL CHAD!!!! PARTICULARLY ON 3RD AND 3 AND SIMPLE PLAY!! That is why BB didnt play you.

It's hard to find the football minded people on this site. I think maybe they are smart enough to know not to post until the season starts? Because all I see is drama queens and the packed.

Your post history contains not a single ounce of evidence towards being 'football' minded. All I see is an Ocho groupie.

The least you could do is explain how to attack coverages by formation with an emphasis on sight adjustments in terms of MOFO/MOFC.... particularly in the West Coast.

I'm not comfortable with players like Chad Johnson, Terrell Owens or Randy Moss in spite of, all being supremely talented at 1 time or another in their career's. It's great when they are making play after play and putting up big number's, but, to be honest the side show or circus that comes along with these types wears on me. As a fan I respect a player so much more that has a team 1st attitude and just goes out and does his job without the fan fare or circus environment others seek. If cutting Chad Johnson means for a happier more unified team so be it. I'm not a fan of Johnson and never was, while I respect his career and admire his accomplishments; he is someone I'd rather not be a part of "The Miami Dolphins". Rome wasn't built in a day, and having Johnson on the team seems to delay the rebuilding process even further. I'd rather go to battle with Wallace, Pruitt and Matthews, who are all young an hungry players, in spite of their lack of supreme talent, but at least these kids work hard and play without the "Look at Me" attitude Chad comes with. Just my opinion.

That's just crazy! Based on 1 pass target in a first preseason game? He needs to stay for at least the preseason, he'll either prove he can or can't play anymore. It's not like we have a glut of capable receivers at this point. I do agree we don't need him as a project, he's too old for that and project time would be better invested in a young guy. But he should get 3 more games to prove himself. Just my opinion.

b/t i'm not with the cut chad johnson now thing...i saw some pretty quick feet last night and with the way this wr core looks we need all the help we can get...but i do think this is gonna be more bark than bite when it's all said and done...

:logic:

No question about it. But, not because he dropped one pass in a preseason game. For many other reasons. He is next on my list.

Add Brian"1 td in the last 26 games" Hartline to the list
He's gonna be hobbled all season and is a free agent next season
release him now and move on

If this habit keeps up, he has to go. Hopefully he will get his head straight, we need his experience.

What other reason would I be here for? I will talk football, when the football minded guys start posting and making interesting threads. So far only seen guys like you whining and crying about non football things.
