I would like to follow up on this quote: What about Haskins and Locke make you call them "elite"? Elite college quarterbacks? If that's the case, wasn't Danny Weurfel an elite college quarterback? Are they elite based on measurables, college production? What is that quantifiable, measurable, objective standard that they have reached that makes it FACT that they are "elite"? It seems to me that any time any one labels any prospect "elite" that it is a matter of opinion, because many "elite" prospects have tanked in the pros(Ryan Leaf, Courtney Brown, Tony Mandarich). Elite college production, perhaps; I see that. To imply that Locke is elite seems to fly in the face of every single evaluation of him. Lots of doubts about his ability. It seems anyone who is elite will have few if any detractors.Haskins and Lock are elite. That is not my opinion. It's a fact. They did it. They made themselves elite. Opinions and how somebody feels does not matter. What a lot of people think or I think does not matter. They are elite regardless.
If you mean they project to be elite pro quarterbacks, I have seen no one ranking them in the group of sure fire, can't miss QB prospects like Luck, Elway when he came out, Manning when he came out.
I would like to know how you have determined through facts that they are elite.
