Finheaven Test Run: ESPN NFL (Mock) Draft Official Thread

7. Vikings (from Raiders)
VikingsMike Williams, WR, USC
Len Pasquarelli, ESPN.com senior NFL writer: The Vikings are looking to trade down, but Williams provides a replacement for the departed Randy Moss. Another team that could go for a tailback, since coach Mike Tice isn't exactly in love with any of his incumbents.

Somebody keep sharing the picks in their mock draft with us...I gotta head out...

This would be huge for Minnesota if Mike Williams fell to them at #7

according to who? but your saying you should never take a RB that high is what you said... so if it was consensus that the best player in say 2 years from now draft is adrian peterson, no one should take him top 10, instead they should only take certain positions because of the money

Adrian Peterson is likely to shatter the rushing record (if he stays all 4 years) and will be the BPA most likely. He will not go #1, just like Ricky didn't.

Look at Philly... Ricky is the BPA, yet they go with a QB who's very close to the top of the board (getting all the VALUE out of their pick) and were in the SB.

minny would be thrilled with williams imo but no chance brown slipps this far

8. Cardinals
Cardinals Adam "Pac-Man" Jones, CB, West Virginia
Len Pasquarelli, ESPN.com senior NFL writer: Coach Dennis Green will be tempted here by tailback Ronnie Brown. But he actually needs a cornerback worse than he does a running back. Auburn cornerback Carlos Rogers is also a solid possibility.

Rogers is not a good pick for us. We do not need a QB, we traded a 2nd round last year to get a capable QB. We have an Awsome backup in Ferotte. Gus is good, he will push Feeley to be better. I hope the Minnesota trade happens.

9. Redskins
Redskins Carlos Rogers, CB, Auburn
John Clayton, ESPN.com senior NFL writer: The Redskins have really gotten hot on the Auburn cornerback lately. If the Cardinals snatched Rogers one pick ahead of them, Pac-Man Jones could be a factor here.

Rodgers is the one guy that I don't want us to take; figures espn would have us taking him in their mock.

What about the question they posted for us? LAME! It's the same thing that has already been stated in EVERY article and on EVERY TV show regarding the draft. The Phins want to trade out of the #2 pick? WOW! What jewel of information that was Len.

Shortest question with the shortest response, LAME!

99% of you clowns haven't even seen Rodgers play. Stop complaining.

it's not about Rodgers, it's about the fact that you don't have to take rodgers that high

10. Lions
LionsDerrick Johnson, LB, Texas
John Clayton, ESPN.com senior NFL writer: This isn't a lock. The Lions would be tempted if Antrel Rolle fell to the 10th pick. It's also not out of the question that the Lions draft defensive end Erasmus James. In the end, though, the Lions can get a play-making linebacker who has the ability to dominate a game because of his speed.

Exactly, waaaaaaaaaaay to high for Rodgers, he might not even go in the top 10.

They don't even have Brown going in the top 10; great "mock".

I guess by "mock" they mean they are "mocking" all of us who are watching this steaming pile of poo.

Cleveland would probably take him #3...

clayton's reasoning was that Miami failed to trade down

if all they really want is Rodgers then it would be incredibly easy to trade down

the gremlin needs to put thought into things, he is making Salisbury look smart
