Five reason why the Dolphins will be better than the NY Jets

No, I don't know that. Seeing as how that game wins you nothing, I consider it just another playoff game that gets you yet another free tshirt.

Super Bowl = Title

After all, that's what you're winning...a title.

Regardless, Manning did a lot in that "title game" as well. You know, he only stood in the pocket and tough a vicious road beating at the hands of one of the toughest defenses in the league. And he got up time and time and time again.

Yeah, he did nothing.

The conf championship games are referred to as "title" games, the Super Bowl is the Super Bowl.

He took a vicious beating throwing up 2 prayers that should have been picked except both times 2 SF Dbs collided knocking the ball from each other, he also fumbled and the Giants recovered. he didn't lead them to a single point in the 2nd half other than the 2 drives that started deep in SF territory after fumbled/muffed PRs. he was great!

"Should have?"

My bad. I thought you were gonna have some legit points to make.

Carry on with your hate agenda.

Still a top five QB.

#5 last year but slides down w/ his brother coming back this year. Does he slide back down to 16-20 like 2010 or will it be a spot or 2? we'll see.

It's my reality agenda, he did very little in the game, the best that can be aid was that he didn't turn it over but he tried like heck to turn it over and had some good fortune.

According to you, Eli hasn't done anything. Any time he throws a touchdown it was all on the receiver to make the play. He can't do anything without the fortune of a good defense, good starting field position, or the mishaps of the other team.

Plaxico was a damn good receiver with the Giants. Not so much with the Jets for some reason.

Certainly your hate agenda.

Eli was a very good QB last year and excellent in postseason overall but I don't forget how he threw 25 INts in 2010 and how he missed the playoffs the 2 previous years before winning a division at 9-7 to make it. I like Eli very much, he's a great guy but I'm still going to be honest about him. If he picks up where he left off and has another very good or better year then maybe I'll begin to think about discussing him in the elite category.

Plax was out of football for 2 1/2 years and spent most of that time in jail, do you think that's a fair comparison?

since 1998 the jets are 19-9 against Miami
since 2002 the jets have made 5 playoff apps winning 6 playoff games, Miami has made 1 winning ZERO
since 2002 the jets have finished ahead of Miami 7 of 10 seasons

yes we have been superior

I don't need any of the stats you provided. I provided my own and that's all there is to say. So the Dolphins have done nothing since 1998. Awesome. You must be so proud to have achieved so much more than my team has.

Eli is elite. The Giants are elite. Sanchez isn't elite. The Jets aren't elite.

I like how you say the Jets are elite b/c of their AFCCG appearances yet Eli, who has won two Super Bowls, isn't elite. It's pure comedy.

One is team, the other is indivudual. The Giants as a team are elite 2007-2011(despite mising 2 postseasons), Eli individually had SB talent around him and won 10 and 9 reg season games in the seasosn they won and led his team to missing 2 straight postseasons plus he threw 25 INts just a season ago. That's not elite.

I will repeat. Eli is elite. The Giants are elite. Sanchez isn't elite. The Jets aren't elite. You aren't winning this short discussion.

And guess what? If Sanchez and Eli Manning switched places since 2007 and Sanchez did what Manning did, I'd say Sanchez was elite too. Yes you heard me correctly.

You can repeat it all you want but it's still wrong.

But what Junc fails to realize is the Giants dont sniff the SB with Sanchez last year. Sanchez, assuming he even makes it this far, curls up like the soft punk he is when the 9ers smack him in the mouth repeatedly. Fact.

Yeah, we all know that the marvelous Mark Sanchez would have done much better against that SF defense. :rolleyes2:

You let me know when moore ever starts and wins a meaningful game in this league.

Sanchez had 3 chances to start and win a meaningful game last season and he failed all three times. OOOPS!

maybe he isn't but at least he isn't our HC like Grandpa Gailey and his incredibly mediocre resume which looks very much like that of Tony Sparano as a HC.

Really? Gailey was the HC of the Dallas Cowboys at the end of their glory years and took them to the playoffs, getting one last good season out of the likes of Aikman and Smith. He also was a well respected OC in both KC and Miami. He was the head coach at Georgia Tech for five or six years as well.

Sparano was a position coach in Dallas before Parcells hired him to be the Fins' HC.

I'm expecting a better O not b/c of the OC change but b/c of the health and improvement of the OL. I know we have talent to be a good offense and as long as the Ol is good our O will be good. It has nothing to do w/ Tony.

How has the OL improved? Adding 2 street FA OTs this week and drafting a guard in the 6th round while letting the only veteran OL sub walk in FA hardly constitutes "improvement". Maybe they'll be healthier, but then again, maybe not.

No.

not w/ him playing like he did late in 2011 just like they wouldn't have had a chance if Eli was playing like he did in 2010 but 2010 Sanchez? they easily still win the SB.

So Pitt isn't a physical team? did you not watch the 2010 AFC Championship game? The biggest difference btw that game and the NYG-SF game was they ruled a cloe play down in the NYG game(Bradshaw fumble) and a close play a fumble(Sanchez fumble which easily could have been ruled incomplete). Change those plays and SF makes it this year and NYJ last year.

He stunk, it happens. First time in 3 years.

He took the Cowboys to the playoffs and lost to the Cardinals in 1998- a franchise that hadn't won a playoff game since the 40s and they lost at HOME. The next season they made it at 8-8 and he was fired, in Buf he hasn't competed for a postseason spot yet.

well respected for being a nice guy and haveing mediocre offenses.

HEALTH, that's how. Slauson had off season surgery, mangold is healthy, Moore isn't rehabbing all offseason. W/ good health this OL will be MUCH better.
