LOL, that is one.....last time I checked, 10 other teams with different coaches have won the SB over the last 10 years.Actually Bellicheck does it with his players quite often.

Do you have an all Philbin access cam I'm not aware of? Selective memory at its finest, I saw him talking with Tannehill during both the Bills and Jets game.

What's wrong with a coach actually taking notes on what he sees from his team during a game and sharing it with them? To me that is part of being a leader and holding players accountable. I've seen Belichick mic'd up and dictating notes to his son on the sideline during a game. Would that make him a poor leader if he used those notes during his post game speech?
Actually Tom Coughlin teams are not always disciplined and often start out very slow due to sloppy play and penalties!
9 out of 10 times when you see any head coach on the TV, he is alone. Also a lot of times when they pan to a coach something bad has happened. I have also seen plenty of times when Philbin is getting on a ref for a bad call. This is complete BS. Selective memory? 9 times out of 10 that Philbin is shown on the sidelines, he is standing solo, not speaking. I never once saw him gather his offense or defense together, or go to the bench to speak with a group. This isn't selective memory. Is it possible that these instances weren't shown by the TV coverage? Sure. But there are so many coach shots during a typical NFL broadcast, that I think you clearly get a flavor for what a coach is doing during a game.
Albert don't try to cloud the matter with facts. Team simply can't win without rah rah motivational speeches from a leader of men who doesn't need cue cards...I have a question for you Hayden, what is our opinion on how we were able to beat the 3 AFC division winners and the Chargers and Pitt?

The Dolphins were among the best teams in the league this year in number of penalty yards per play. In fact it was one of the things that compensated for deficiencies in performance elsewhere.Tom Coughlin = Disciplined teams
I actually disagree, I think Philbin did an amazing job motivating players all season. Did you see the post about where our offensive linemen where ranked (except for Pouncey). We lost 2 of those linemen in that Martin Incognito fiasco that threatened to derail the season. I think Philbin is a HUGE reason why we made it through that. Also the linebacker move from last year single-handily caused us the playoffs. Philbin took a team with a joke for an offensive line and with linebackers that couldn't stop a runny nose and almost got us into the playoffs, while also beating all 3 teams we faced that are now in the AFC playoffs!
This ra-ra crap is stupid! Tony Dungee was an awesome coach whose demeanor is much like Philbins.
