Go, Go Go

I would say something like: "No way, it's gotta be more complicated than that. That would be stupid"
But then I remember we're talking about Sherman/Philbin here, who have shown to be Sparano-dumb lately.

:(

the fact this board is the only place that seems to think this is a problem, reassures me that this is absolutely not a problem.

that's not accurate, ive seen it mentioned a few different places as an issue its just finheaven seems to be the predominant forum for all thing related to the dophins

In all due respect, I just watched two games of the Go Go's, and did not see any defender making any move based on it. Other than lower level FB opinion, it would appear to me that it makes no difference at the Pro level.

I'm wide open to be wrong IF anyone can give me a play or two where it mattered. You will have to go back before the last two games.

No. You HAVE to be right. Giving the defense a queue doesn't matter at all.

To add another thing to this argument: how many defensive off side have we seen go against our opposition? Without looking into it, I can bet it's VERY VERY few. Why? Because, again, the cadence is simple and predictable.

Now you're finally getting somewhere, but on the flip side how many false starts have we had?

I gave you my opinion based on watching the last two games. What do you base your's on?

How about this game 1 and 9 run, all others are pass. So

4159 (run)
2133 (run(

5568 (pass)

If you want to make a point, make it. Don't ask others to make it for you. You seem to be wavering in what you have to say, and bringing new things to make you look better.

I've re-watched every game multiple times. And while the defense just doesn't just simply FLY one way or the other given the cadence, they are given a VERY important clue. Not to say this clue can be totally taken for granted defense where they can TOTALLY forget about other possibilities, it does make it much easier for them. I do believe this has hurt our o-line. And by NO means am I defending them. They have been sub par and that is being kind. BUT, the sack totals are evidence enough for me and so are the overall struggles in the running game. And for the last several weeks, I do NOT believe it has been by coincidence that our sacks have ramped up later in the games. THIS is especially important because, simply, you have given the defense NOTHING else to consider. SO they just come and get the QB. It's simple and obvious. Why else has Tannehill barely completed drops late in games and getting sacked? Yes, the O-line has something to do with it, but giving the defense an advantage of KNOWING is also an issue. The o-line and the snap count ARE relative. And, IMO, something needs to change. And I will go so far as to GUARANTEE that it would make a difference for us offensively.

Wavering? Come on man. I have not wavered. I was just offering an additional ISSUE. I stand behind EVERYTHING I said 100%. It IS an advantage to the defense to KNOW whether a pass or a run in coming. HOW THE HELL could it NOT be? Seriously?

Because it's not.

It hasn't had any negative effect on Miami, you dont see any defensive players jumping the snap count when he says "go" or "go go", it's just like saying "hut" or "hut hut" or any other term qbs use..

You can tell if its going to be run or pass just by looking at which way the tackle moves.

LMAO. OK bro. THIS will NOT give the defense a CLUE of what we're doing. It is SO freakin obvious that it literally disturbs me that people do not get it. WOW. I've been around football LITERALLY all my life. This is something, as a coach or player, that you would look for as an advantage. How could it NOT be? Seriously? Okay one Go is a pass, two go's are a run. You and OTHERS are trying to convince me that this DOES NOT put us at some level of a disadvantage? That's honestly hilarious.

As I know you have played, your opinion is very welcome.
