Herbert looking pretty solid…JS

Whew. Herbert looked like 2018 Herbert playing Michigan St. in the Red Box Bowl out there today.

Lamar Jackson was throwing it to the Chargers almost as much as Herbert was and still got drubbed.

Certainly not his best effort. You’d expect more from a guy that big and physically gifted.
He is way better than Tua. In fact, Tua sucks.

Come to think of it, all the Bama QBs suck. Mac Jones is the best of em, he's very average. Tua sucks and Jalen Hurts is flat out awful.

Bama QBs all riding the gravy train that Nick Saban rolled out for them. They were all throwing to first round caliber WRs, with stud RBs in the backfield, and a nice group of players on the OL. This allows them to not just put up big numbers, but gives them huge windows to make throws in with plenty of time to find them. Even though they often faced NFL talent on the other side, because the SEC is so tough, there were plenty of games they were going against almost all amateur players.

That one former Bama QB is really good in the booth as an analyst. But, AJ McCarron might be the best of the 5 because his mom is the original milf.

Well there is some truth in what you're saying, and if anybody knows suck - it's lolphin fans. I'll take you at your word.

Awful generous of you to refer to Jalen Hurts as a Bama quarterback. He's an Oklahoma running back.

Being from Tenn..that boy MIGHT be a tad butt-hurt from Bama beatings.

Anybody in the organization that says they wanted Herbert over Tua should be dismissed on the spot. There’s no way anybody that watched college football or studied the prospects should’ve preferred Justin Herbert over Tua.

Even the people out there that did prefer Herbert over Tua had no idea he would play like he has in the NFL. They had no idea. None. Otherwise he’d be a Bengal.

Herbert struggled a lot more in college than he has in the NFL. Again, those that did prefer Herbert still only preferred him out of injury concerns for Tua. They had no idea Herbert was going to throw 30+ TD’s as a rookie.

All it amounts to is some people may have guessed right this time, but see the opportunity to make it look like they knew this all along. Most people have enough sense to understand what’s really going on.

The same ones that want to pound folks over the head about how right they were about Herbert are the same ones that tried to pound folks over the head about Drew Lock and Jacob Eason.

No matter how much anyone loved Justin Herbert, they couldn’t predict the way it’s played out. Tua was always viewed as the better player. Period.

Lucky for him, he just managed to land with the worst organization in professional sports and has legitimate durability issues.

Miami had their shot at Herbert and passed on him. They’re all responsible for it. Don’t be a snake now and try to make yourself look good. It only makes them look worse when you get right down to it.

Anybody that comes out now and says that they preferred Herbert cannot be trusted. You can bet they’re going to f^ck you more often than they’ll take you out for a $100 steak. That’s a fact.

Just curious if Miami has cut Tua yet?

Apparently Flores may not like him and preferred Herbert. So he pouts. Suffice it to say Tua doesn’t prefer Flores either.

In fact, I’m pretty sure a lot of people preferred a different coach than Flores when all this started. I’m sure a lot of people preferred a few GM candidates over Mayor Grier when all this started.

But they got stuck with both of ‘em anyway. So they can certainly relate to Brian Flores and how he feels - Because nobody else with a reputation or half a clue wanted anywhere near the organization.

It makes no sense why Tua is still on the roster if they think he sucks. Somebody is trying to get information out there that no teams are interested in Tua. That’s interesting.

Remember when nobody wanted Drew Brees when he left San Diego? I do.

If Miami thinks Tua sucks, and nobody is interested in trading for him - then they need to cut him. It shouldn’t be hard to find somebody better. What’s the hold up?

Reckon how many teams are beating down Miami’s door to trade for Flores and Grier. Wonder what they’d fetch?

Who fetches more in a trade - Grier, Flores, or Tua?

If a team trades for Flores, they also get a 2-for-1 on OC’s. Maybe a 3-for-1.

He’ll have a barista from Starbucks coach your offensive line.

Trade for Grier and they get his resume full of Hall of Fame prospects and NFL All-Pros. Only they’re all listed in the section where it shows who he passed up.

He did get that 4th round pick in exchange for Ryan Tannehill though.

What do you reckon Grier’s resume says under “Objective”?

The bottom line is, the difference between people like Tua and Flores is this - Tua was willing to be part of a team. He was willing to work with Flores as they grew together made mistakes together. That’s what the hope was.

The best thing for Tua is for all these “winners” in Miami that are being held back by his play to cut him loose. Period.

That’s been the truth from the day they drafted him.

By the way, the Ravens were giving up an average of 23.4 PPG. Herbert put up 6.

Tua has to stop being careless with the ball. Those 2 interceptions killed us yesterday. We have a lot of problems.:bang::bang:

He was taking risks trying to make plays for his 1-5 football team. 🤣

That would clearly have been 0-6 without him to begin with.

All I see is complaining that he's too conservative when the coaches have the handcuffs on him because they believe the defense might be able to lead them to a 1st round playoff trouncing. Then complaining that he's taking risks for a 1-5 football team whose defense can't stop a nosebleed.

Constant complaining about his stats and lack of scores when he was winning. Then complaining about not winning when he's putting up the stats and scoring.

Miami's season was already dead long before those 2 interceptions killed you.

If he hadn’t made those throws, people would have been yelling “gAmE mAnAjUr!!!1!!” from the rooftops. Dude can’t win.

I would still like to see Reid Sinnett get some playing time to see what he is. The season is over anyway.

hahahahahaha the **** we need to see what Sinnett is? Our QB just had 80% completion % and threw for 4 TDs and we got someone wanting to put Sinnett in. That's rich as hell if you arent trolling. WOW.

He also threw 2 interceptions

The fake outrage over being 1-6 instead of 2-5 by Tua haters is hilarious. 🤣

They have no ownership, no front office, no coaching staff, no defense and no players even trying outside of Tua and Jaylen Waddle - but clutch their pearls over one of the best young QB's in the league that leaves it all on the field for his team. They deserve every bit of what they get year after year.

Tua won't be stuck in that hell hole down there forever.

Here let's break it down for you chief. Upon rewatching the All-22, Tua threw 40 passes. 38, yes 38 of those ****ING passes hit the receivers in the hands. The other 2 were picks.

1. Smythe is running a terrible corner route vs C2 in redzone. 1, he should've turned that into a Bender probably. Not sure if it was an option but if it wasn't, he needs to flatten out his route from pushing it vertically to the back pylon. If he flattens it out, Tua throws it to the spot he expects Smythe to be. Instead, Smythe falls backwards like Raekwon Davis does every time at the LOS.

2. Waddle is sitting in the zone when Sackson gives up an immediate pressure. Tua stares down Waddle, then Waddle moves from his spot in the zone. Tua throws it to where Waddle is and Waddle moved. Not a great decision by Tua, but honestly Waddle needs to take some blame. I know he was trying to make himself available to the QB once he moved, but it was just bad timing on both sides. Should've thrown it to Waddle earlier and Waddle should've stayed a split second longer.

For all you clowns out there that says "But TuA THRoW DeEP lIKE HErBeRT!" Here is what the Dolphins see weekly from defenses. They are gameplanning against Tua's strengths (deep ball) vs actually what they are good at.

Why make excuses for Tua. He did play very well but those interceptions are on him.
