HUGE Pats and Chargers fans

Its funny cause of it the scores hold right now nobody will go into next week controlling there own destiny.

Chargers will need Miami to lose
Baltimore would Need San Diego to lose
and Miami would need Baltimore to lose or San Diego to win.

Its a weird situation if it happens
 
Bengals will play hard next week trying to avoid the pats catching them. Im just as upset as anyone about todays crap, but theres still a chance, and a decent one at that.

The Ravens losing to the Lions and losing to the Pats or Bengals were two completely different things. I said all along if we finish 9-7 we were still going to need the Ravens to lose to either the Pats or the Bengals. That still is the case whether or not they lost to the Lions.

If the Ravens had lost to the Lions, but beat the Pats and Bengals, they would have won a 3 team tie at 9-7 with us and the Chargers. But, losing to the Bengals or Pats and finishing 9-7, the Phins win the 3 team tie.

so if we end up tied with the Ravens at 9-7 and they get in you still won't have a clue about the importance of the Lions game. got it.

Only way Cincy has something to play for next week (if the Pats win tonight) is if Buffalo beats NE in NE. Unlikely.

Which it looks like pats will win tonight. This is not how nfl teams and players think. They know any given sunday and if there is a chance for pats to lose, they will play to hold on to no.2 seed. If pats win, the bengals will play for no.2 seed given the fact the pats can lose to the bills and bengals would take the no.2 since they have the tie breaker on pats. If pats lose, bengals will play the ravens to maintain theor no.2 seed as the bengals losing next week would make them lose the spot.

The pats will be playing at the same time as the bengals ravens game, so its not like the bengals can watch the game against pats unfold and then decide if they will play starters or not as the games are both at 1pm i believe.

Both games are at 1pm. The Bengals will not know the result of that game when it begins.
 
If NE is doing this to Baltimore this week, Cincy is going to put a world of hurt on them next week.

Ok, true. But I would rather have the Bengals in a situation where they need a win to get a home playoff game. Much more motivation than needing another team to lose in order to get a first-round bye.
 
San Diego scores to go up 10-7, NE is up 17-0. If these scores hold up it will be a very interesting Week 17 for Miami
 
I think expecting KC to lose to SD is gonna be hard especially since we need SD to keep winning.

The Bengals clinched as far as the playoffs go today with fins losing so they don't need to win as far as playoffs go. The bengals now need to win, to get homefield advantage atleast for the divisional game. The Bengals are a tougher team at home so you bet your ass the bengals really want the no.2 seed, so they wll play to keep it, which they won't have that guarentte unless they win next week too.
