I would totally support a move

Im just tired of watching the same garbage every week and then seeing 14 threads pop up from out of town fans whining about attendance. We arent the only team that doesnt fill the stadium. I number of teams are experiencing blackouts. Such is life when you are 1-11 at home in your last 12, plus other factors.

I agree its garbage, and out of town people should just shut it up. Oakland hasn't sold out a game in over 5 years. And Arizona only sells out when they have Pittsburgh, NE, Cowboys or some other popular team. Jacksonville has to put up tarps to cover 10,000 of their seats because they could never sell out.

Bengals blacked out I think.

Quite often the Bengals blackout. As do the Raiders, and the Jaguars.

I remember years ago, when the Pats played in Foxboro, many times the Dolphins played there in front of less than a half filled stadium. The Pats also used to win 2 or 3 games a year regularly.

Exactly. As cliche as it sounds, and it's been said a million times around here. Winning will fix this issue.

Our approval is not a prerequisite for you having an opinion, but for you to presume it is a "good opinion" is a bit much. Your comment was inane. You're blaming the victims. Don't blame fans for not showing up when the product is garbage and the incompetence is undeniable. Every fan down here knows that ownership was writing off the season before it began. Failure to fire the incumbent regime proved that. Miami is not Cincinnati. Miami is not Detroit. Miami is not Cleveland. There is a hell of a lot more fans could be doing on a Sunday afternoon and until ownership starts delivering some title contenders, I'd advise everyone to stay away.
I'm not blaming anyone for not showing up. I AM challenging the fact that fans say winning would completely change all of it. Why could we not sell out a home playoff game? This has been a problem for a long time. Not just since this team stopped playing well.

You would follow sparano to new haven dolphins hell naah??

I sure would. And I bet they would sell more tickets in the small city of New Haven than the metropolis that is Miami.

And for at people complaining about the heat and lack of team success, I have two words for you: BUFFALO BILLS. That stadium is always packed, and they have two backers bars in Boston that both pack for the games. The Dolphins don't even have a backers bar in Boston. You think 90 degrees and humid is worse than 10 degrees and wind? Pathetic. If the attitude of most of the Miami fans is similar to the ones on this board, I saw MOVE THIS TEAM. Maybe there's a reason we keep losing at home.........

Within Florida, yea, a move would be great. If they could get a stadium near Palm Beach County, attendance would be better.
?

Let's see: Buccaneers? Every home game blacked out last year. Jaguars? Same. In other sports: Rays? Damn near the bottom. Florida Panthers? You can hear a pin drop. I somehow don't think Palm Beach County is the one magical area in this state that will solve attendance problems. This whole state is made up of transplants and that won't change anytime soon. That being said, this team ain't going anywhere. Teams that own their stadiums don't move.

I want to but won't attack you, but I'll respond to your post. The Dolphins deserve having empty stands, they suck at home. Why pay $70- $100 to watch someone lose while you sweat your butt off? I can tell you're not from Miami. It's hot and humid here and there is no reason to dump money into a losing project. This team is pitiful, simple and plain and doesn't deserve to be supported. This isn't the same team I fell in love with as a kid, but a shell of it's former greatness.

Here lies the difference between Miami fans from Miami, and fans in other areas; you truly are "fair weather fans"; it's pitiful. People want to use this 1-11 home record, as an excuse; but the fact is even before then attendance was a problem.

There is absolutely NO home field advantage; and that may be part of the reason the recent record is so bad. Don't you think it may effect the teams confidence a bit to look up in the stands and see NO ONE??

I agree with OP, this team probably should move somewhere where fans appreciate having an NFL team; and support them through thick and thin

You mean like the time they had to blackout Jim Kelly's final playoff game because it didn't sell out? Like that? People were whining about our preseason games being blacked out. The jills had both preseason games blacked out, if I remember correctly. They're home game against NE last year was saved from a blackout when a 77 year old local business man bought 7000-8000 tickets. People use the Bills all the time to whine about the local fan base. The same people whine all the time about the 1 playoff game that didn't sellout in time to avoid a blackout (but DID sell out). Clueless. Hell, the Colts almost had to blackout their playoff game against the jests last year. They should be moved to Boise, ID.

God damn facts ruin everything, right?

And there's a huge backer bar here in NYC. If you are such a hardcore fan, start your own backer bar there. There are plenty of fans. Quit crying.

P.S. The jills "comeback game" was blacked out as well during their SB run. So, feel free to keep using them as an example. It's strong support.

Kinda like how you're doing with your local Buffalo Bills, eh?

Hey, if I was a Bills fan I'd be at every game; but looking at their stands they don't need me....their franchise hasn't been to the playoffs since the 90s and their games are packed with rabid fans; other teams hate coming to play at Orchard Park; more than I can say for "No-Life Stadium" ....see the problem isn't just you guys don't go to the games; but your also a really tame crowd; it doesn't take much to suck the air out of the Fins stadium...it's embarrassing

i agree i live in ct. and have to deal with jets patriots and giants so i know the dolphins are not moving here

Right Gonzo

And the Jills are playing games in Toronto they are so endeared in Buff..., in fact when Ralph Wilson passes the franchise will likely end in Toronto in the Sky Dome which is great for the Dolphins because they won't have to play in the snow
