Say we start 2-7
Is that enough to get him fired?
4 consecutive slow starts to a season.

Why even make this thread? We still have the rest of this season and a complete offseason next year.

We’re already making threads about starting poorly in 2022 and firing the coach?

Come on!

I mean we'll see when we get there. Still 4 games left this year and the offseason

If Tua bangs Flos wife in the offseason do you think he’ll be the starter?

"We need a new OC" "We need to cut this, this and this player" "We need to sign all of these FAs"

Then people are surprised when we start out slowly.
I only want a new OL coach, maybe a proven lineman or two, proven WR, and I’m good. Good 3-down LB if I’m greedy.

No man! He has a 5 year contract. Grier is drafting, it is job in progress. Running game is not fixed, receivers are in shambles, offensive line is not fixed. Next year maybe another rough start due to adjustments and rookies and free agents.
Also, Tua may get hurt and Grier may sign Rosen to be the backup and we may lose another 5-6 in a row again because of that.
So, the answer is no. It's a work in progress.

I voted No. I'm not a fan of Flores. I'm indifferent. I am tired of the lack of continuity though.

I've said it before, but Brian Flores has more wins right now than Belicheat did in his first three seasons as head coach.

I don't think there will be that slow of a start anyway, unless they change the offense again.

It's just weird how, for 3 years in a row, at some point in the season we're playing like gangbusters and the narrative is 'these guys are playing hard for Coach Flo'...but before that, in the last 2 years, it's 'Flo is losing the locker room'.

I think our last 2 drafts have given us enough quality players to be able to hit the ground running in '22.
This team, As Is, is debatably One very good OL guy away from making us a team that could beat Anyone right now. Give the Dec 2021 Dolphins a badass 'human snowplow' lineman so we van run when the oppo knows we're running and still cant stop us and we could beat Anybody.
But, we clearly dont have that guy and, realistically we need 3 more quality OL brought in in '22 for depth and starting line improvement.
It's gotta be weird to realistically be one deficient position group away from Super Bowl contender.
We're going into an offseason in 5 weeks (unless we make the playoffs) having 'NEED' at only one position. We could go straight up BPA everywhere else.
Our FA has gotta be OL cuz we cant afford 'maybes' or 'time to develop' with where we are now.
2022 is really shaping up to be 'GO TIME' for Super Bowl train.

Part of why I really want to see one or both OCs back next year. The benefits of continuity can't be overstated. I don't think, at this point, it applies to the OL coach however. They just don't have the experience and proven results to rely on. Maybe bring in a specialist OL coach to help the OL coach out? I dunno...I just know they haven't impressed. Grier has given them plenty of talent to work with over the past few years (many teams have much better lines that consist of 3rd to 5th round players).

It's not a hard concept, keep staff, keep veterans as needed, draft replacements, bolster with FA. They didn't do 1, 2, sort of did 3 and failed at 4 this year. Lot of $$$ for next year and not so much hype of multi pick rounds. Hoping for the best!
