This still doesn't support why the fins AREN'T the team to beat.

On paper the phins nose out the pats and bills. We'll see how it plays out. The best point in this thread is about the inuries playing a role.

While Buffalo has a good team defensively now I don't think they will be the team to beat. The jets have too many loses at free agency and recently lost their starting quarterback. New england stayed with their veterans while adding key free agents and had some pretty good draft picks. I think we are heading to another competitive year in the afc east but in my opinion, new england is the team to beat.

How about, they didn't make the playoffs and still haven't proven the D can play away games. Their new aquisitions haven't really made any noise. Chambers hasn't proven he's recovered from that hit or is back and neither has Nails. When your coach say these two important players neeed to step up, there are worries.
Prisco seems like he hates the fins which is why he'd rather put the bills at the top. I don't agree with him but like I said IMO the Pats are the team to beat w/ the fins closely behind.

Does paper hold more than preseason games/ performance?

What exactly has Spikes, Posey or Adams done so far? A whole lot of nothin. Adams gets knocked on his ***, Spikes sits on the sidelines and gloats how good your LB core is gonna be, and I haven't heard anything on Posey.

Yes. Pre-season is not an accurate measuring stick of veteran players or teams.
