He is a fast Hunter Renfrow.
Played something like 70% of his snaps out wide - faster, more explosive, quicker, way better with the ball in his hands, a legit deep threat. But, otherwise, sure . . .
He is a fast Hunter Renfrow.
While I do not doubt that he can be an excellent slot he brings much more to the table than Renfrow ever did.He is a fast Hunter Renfrow.
He is just not strong. Good physical corners like the Bama corners and the Ohio State corners shut him down. They get their hands on him at the line and disrupt his route. He has a habit of disappearing against elite competition. That doesn’t bode well as the NFL is full of good physical corners. While I do not doubt that he can be an excellent slot he brings much more to the table than Renfrow ever did.
He is more of a mini Cooper Kupp in my opinion.
That is a fair critique of him, along with the issue of durability.I would not want him to be WR 1 or WR2 for me in the NFL but if he is WR3 then you have a real weapon. He is just not strong. 92 catches for 1640 yards and 13 tuddies. I’ll take that uninspiring play any day.
To me I could see both LSU WRs above Odunze.Odunze is a very interesting prospect to me. The production is undeniable and he does many of the things that succeed in the NFL.
But I see a lot of people having him ahead of Nabers and that surprises me. I think Nabers is going to be a star who rivals Marv as their careers advance.
