Jestards Threaten Boycott of 2010 Miami Home Game

When Jets fans can talk to me about incidents in Landshark Stadium..

1.Where they got hit by a beer bottle.
2.Where they got punched in the face for daring to wear a Dolphin Jersey.
3.Where they got Pissed on.
4.Where they got Spit on.
5.Where they got Beer thrown on you.
6.Where they had their 10 year old son verbally abused for being a Dolphin fan.

Those are just a few things that friends of mine had happen to them while in the Meadowlands playing the Jets...I can just imagine all the other horror stories having to do with playing the Jets in the Meadowlands.

Jets...suck...suck...suck, has them upset?....Please

Some of this happened to my family at the Jets game last year, I have three daughters!!!!!! Lets just say I was not very happy and may it known.

Screw them!

That stuff happens everywhere and a big reason why is alcohol. Those fans embarrass me just like the fans that were idiots for you guys should embarrass you. I wish the NFL would ban alcohol at games but we know that will never happen. Not only does it make the environments more dangerous for fans(home and visiting) but it endangers us on the roads as well w/ drunk drivers and w ehave to get up every 5 mins as these drunken idiots have to use the bathroom or get up for more beer.

Quit whinin.....beer and football go hand in hand......all you crybabies should just stay home if you don't like what goes on at games.......

Agreed, but your boys are really whining about it. This thread would not exists if not for their whining. I have been to many NFL stadiums and most are exactly the same except for a few (usually teams that suck and fans don't care). Philly is by far the worse, its a dangerous place to be in an away jersey.

It's crazy to expect adults to act like adults. How many games have you been to in your life?

I think all fans should complian if they haven't been treated the right way. Just b/c other idiot Jet fans act that way doesn't mean the people complaining should be harassed, the same thing w/ dolphin fans or fans of any team. We all have our idiot fans that embarrass us.

Beer and Football do go hand and hand, but they should consider having a family section. So DADS (and Moms) can take their kid without having to worry about the rated R (sometime rated X, upper deck night games) stuff. Just my .02.

Complain at the stadium, send a letter to the stadium or team. People that could make a difference. Creating a movement online is whining IMO and opens you and your fans up to ridicule.

Gimmick punt team ?? Wouldn't you call the WIldcat a gimmick ?? We'll see what happens next time .

No, a gimmick play will not be effective if the opponent knows you are going to use it......All teams that play Miami knows it's coming, yet can't stop it

A gimmick play is used once, maybe twice a game, Miami is using the Wildcat at least 20% of the time each DRIVE....teams still can't stop it.

Gimmick plays rely on surprise, while the Wildcat relies on personnel and execution.....like most offensive formations.

I am sure if the Jets ran a fake Punt every time they set up to punt, they would be be happy if they were successful 10% of the time.

There you go, I have seen this personally, one of my friends that I normally saw at the Sports bar I watch the games at, came in one week with a black eye, the Eye looked horrible, he told me that he was walking out of a game wearing a Dolphin Jersey, a drunk Jets fan saw him, came up to him, and sucker punched him, then ran off.....To be fair though, two other Jets fans that saw this ran after him caught him, and held him there until police was able to come take him.

I do not care where it happens, Meadowlands, Landshark, if fans are being physically abusive or making it tough to watch a game, they need to be escorted out.....and being abusive to children is just an even higher level of being a sleezeball.

I agree, not saying it's just Jets fans, but I think those that go to the game to get drunk and start problems need to be escorted out. I have been pretty lucky, but could have just as easily have happened to me, and a few times, I was threatened, luckily I just laughed it off, but to the wrong person, a fight could start....we are not going to games to get in fights, at least I hope that's the mentality people have.

Probably around 30 or so.....I'm a 33 year old man.....and goin to Dolphins and Canes games is my time to let loose......act like a young'n again.....I'm not going to the game to act like I'm in a business meeting.......I'm going to represent my team and back them up.....and with all the talk around before the game about how you guys were comin to take over the stadium and make this a home game how did you expect to be treated???.....I don't care if you guys come to my house and root for your team but you come talkin crap and disrespect.....you'll be treated the way you act.....

They do have an alcohol-free zone......I've sat there twice.....alot of people with their kids and stuff......

i guess you don't have a family you would like to take to a game? i feel the same way about things that nyjunc does, now that i'm living back in new england it is not even worth the hassle taking my wife and kids to a game with me, though the kids are getting older. i have no problem holding my own, but i don't want my wife or kids being a part of that garbage. last time we were at gillette we were getting pelted with snowballs which was the 4th quarter collapse in 02, and some clown hit my wife is the head with one. of course when you call them out on that **** they run and hide but it was almost not a pretty sight. i paid quite a bit of money for my seats and it could have been alot worse had i let things escalate, but i didn't. but this isn't even the jests im talking about and i won't bring my family back to an away game

problem is some people have that mentality, i have witnessed it many times when the jets came to town. christmas day game was especially rough.

I do have a wife and 2 daughters.......and I'll take them to a Dolphins vs. an NFC team game or something if I want to take them.....where the crowd is much milder.......I would never think of taking them to a division game......I remember my dad taking me to games in the OB against teams like the Raiders.......people gettin hit with glass bottles and stuff......
