Not at all, I'm implying that its funny some fans see the need for patience with a 28 year old quarterback that was mediocre last year and didn't offer the same patience to Lamar Gordon as they argued that runningback was our biggest need in round one(regardless of who Saban actually chose and why), despite the fact that we had invested under Spielman valuable draft picks in both players.
I believe McDougal is an upgrade to the O-line, along with Damien Cook and Anthony Alabi and hopefully the maturation into a starter of Vernon Carey, so I hardly see this as a status quo line from last year, especially considering the addition of a true upgrade in coaching in Hudson Houck.
