Josh Allen/ Tua stats comparison

Tua has a strange effect on people, both supporters, haters and worshippers ( like myself)

Strange standards get placed on him that doesn't apply to others.

I was shocked to find out broken coverages and underthrown TD passes really don't count.

Now I am reading that Tua getting to 42 points is not the same as Allen getting to 41 because Allen did it while blowing out a team and Tua did it while preventing a blowout?

Is this seriously what we're doing?

Both were impressive

Both have been great

Stats don't matter anymore if you get them when your team was blown out?

The Ravens were not playing soft defense nor were they in prevent.

Goal posts get moved crazily when Tua is involved.
Bills defense scored some of those points…but ya…5 min into the 3rd quarter it was over.

Who beat who never matters..,ever. Last year we swept the Cheaters, who beat the Jags that we lost to. It’s folly to go by that stuff.

I agree, my point is one offense is more dynamic, and can put more points on a defense easier then the other Offense.

Was that Urban Meyers only win? The way that game ended was embarrassing

Gotta be fair to Allen here. He only played 7 quarters so far. He got his team to a big enough lead last night to rest in the 4th quarter.

Two stats that I saw this morning: Allen has 4 total TD's in 4 straight games, 1 game shy of Peyton's record; Bills have scored 27+ points in 9 straight games.

That's a lot of sustained production. Regression to the mean may be the Dolphins' best chance. - LOL

Yeah, I mean Allen is playing phenomenally.

I am not gonna diminish it because he played 2 horrible defenses.

But then again, maybe Allen is just that good he made them look bad.

Same with Tua. It's amazing how all of a sudden the Ravens had a bad defense. Really?

Can't we just look at these 2 and enjoy THE great play of the last 2 weeks.

Allen has over a year of great play. Which started year 3 when he got Diggs.

This is year 3 for Tua and boy what a diferrence Cheetah makes.

Allen has made it look easy so far this year.

Tua looked like he was playing Madden in the 4th quarter.

This is just getting out of hand.

Is Tua as good as Allen. Maybe not yet or so far
But right now, right now, he's playing as good as Allen.

Maybe that changes on Sunday.

Or maybe, just maybe, the AFC East has the new day version of Marino vs. Kelly.

That's what I am hoping for. That's what I'm rooting for.

It will be great seeing these guys battle it out every year for the next 10-15 years for the AFC East.

For the record, my intention is not to say which QB is better (Personal feeling, Tua needs to prove himself, before I do that), but to how each QB has done so far, and a bit of info on how those Defenses have done when not facing Josh or Tua.

For whatever it's worth...Have at it.
I know a lot of people on here are thinking the same way I’m thinking about tua’s, it’s very unfair on him being compared to anybody else because this is his very first year of have a coach friendly coach , his first year offensive cord coach gaily who doesn’t like rookies and he basically said this much , Flores the coach if you want to call him that who didn’t like tua because he wanted Herbert , so it’s kind of unfair to judge him at all. Now you have Coach McDaniel who finally we have a offensive mind a coach instead of a defensive minded coach and look how good tua is doing , now if McDaniels was tua’s first coach when he was drafted 20 would be a top 10 quarterback to meet with no problem

Ravens had the 32nd ranked pass defense last year, and so far this year. Injuries been killing them dudes.

Yes…the Bills…because they’re playing our defense, not theirs.

Talking about the Ravens offense being more Dynamic then then the Titans...Reason Josh got to rest in the 4th, and Tua had to make a come back.

Keep in mind, Allen was nothing special until Diggs got there.

I like Allen, wanted to draft him, but my like faded when I saw how he acts on the field. I respect Allen, he is probably the best QB in the league right now.

So what your saying Tua did what he needed to do to a Defense with that type of Secondary, and put over 300 yards, 2-3 TDs on them?

Tua did beyond that, with 6 TDs, 460+ Yards on them. Good Job Tua 👍

I’m saying the Ravens pass defense sucks. I don’t know where the hell you get all that other stuff.

GRYPH said “all of a sudden the Rvaens have a bad defense,” but it’s not all of a sudden, it’s been a whole season-plus.

Man oh man.

Titans-25th at 247 yards a game
Rams-21st at 238 yards a game

Ravens- 32nd at 278.9 yards a game
Pats- 4th at 193.8 yards a game.

Why did last year's rankings not matter with Tuas performance against the Pats?

The point is, no one would say the Rams had a bad defense, nor the Ravens.

Ravens may have had the 32nd ranked pass defense, but the weren't giving up 400+ yards ad 6 tds a game.

They were giving up 39 yards more passing a game than the Rams and 31 more than the Titans.
