No clue where they are going to hang it stadium logos because the only place that looks like it could fit is on the backside of the jumbotrons. Stadium really wasn't designed to have the logos hand down from anywhere and there isn't anywhere inside for them to be visible.

That ETFE stuff won't be finished by the time the Canes play there and probably will be cutting it close the for Dolphins opening game. My guess it is will be completed by the end of September/early October though. Pretty impressive stuff.

The first weather test will come on Sunday for the new roof with this Tropical Storm headed over.

Likely to shut down work for 3 days +/- 1 day from land strike.

The Miami Dolphins say they've intensified mosquito-control treatments at their stadium because of the Zika virus.

The stadium is about 10 miles from the nearest area of the virus outbreak, so the Dolphins decided to step up treatments as a precaution. Construction workers are at the site daily completing the latest phase in a $500 million renovation.

Treatments on the 265-acre site will include the parking lot. They follow recommendations by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, using chemicals approved by the Environmental Protection Agency. Treatments are expected to continue through the football season and beyond.

Foggers will be used every two weeks. The Dolphins' pest control provider has removed standing water and treated larvae.

The delay wasn't intentional. Which sides went in first however most certainly was. However, I have a feeling all 4 sides of the translucent pillows will be installed before the Canes open up play on the 3rd, if not then it will for sure be for game 2. By Sept 25th all the pillows will be in and only cosmetic work on the roof will still be ongoing.

Oh please. If we get lucky it's a minor TS. Looks more like a TD at best.
a) its moving over Hispaniola so chances of development are not that great
b) it still has upper level wind shear which also prohibits major development

Couple days off.
