Lakers Lakers Lakers

IMO he garbage ever since he was on the Sac. Queens. Always, ALWAYS making bad shot decisions. I would take a rookie over him.

Not for nothing...since he is done now...But J-Will has been tops in the league in Assist/Turnover ratio for the past 4 years..and he was afterall the point guard of a World Champion.

Wade must rise to Kobe's level

By ISRAEL GUTIERREZ - Miami Herald

Rarely does a symbolic message arrive with such perfect timing.

In Dwyane Wade's first game with his new post-Shaq teammates, he faced the team that has almost completely overcome its own loss of Shaquille O'Neal.

And perhaps more meaningful, Wade faced the player who has elevated himself and his teammates to the point where O'Neal is merely a pleasant Laker memory instead of a haunting reminder of a ghastly trade.

In 42 minutes of the Lakers' 104-94 defeat of the Heat on Sunday, Kobe Bryant guided in a handful of those demoralizing fade-away jumpers that reminded you of Michael Jordan. He played relentless, suffocating defense reminiscent of Scottie Pippen, practically handcuffing Wade at times. He even threw in a graceful running hook shot from 15 feet that made you swear that was Magic Johnson in a Lakers uniform again (Magic was actually in the stands watching the display for himself.)

The well-timed message? If the Miami Heat is going to experience the same kind of recovery that the Lakers currently are, then Wade is going to have to rise to Bryant's level.

Let the post Shaq era begin in Miami. Good Luck in the draft.

So was Tyrone Luu. So what's your point. He's always suck. The only reason he's in Miami is because shaq convince riley to bring him over.

The whiney Miami media strikes again.

I guess they already forgot...that he "rose" to that level in the 05-06' finals.

Seems like he stayed there because everyone still waiting for him to keep that level up.

Tyrone Luu is a pg for the world champions. Actually back2back champions. Im just saying that comment is worthless because obviously Luu is not better the J.Will because he won more championships.

Not for nothing Amars...

But he hasn't changed one bit.

His career playoff numbers are better than Kobe's.

He is coming off an injury and is having a good season.

I dont know what these media idiots expect.

You got a top 5 player...be happy with that.

So you just ignore the fact that J-Will has been great in assist/turnover ratio..and just bring up Tyrone Luu comparisons on championships?

Well when you play more playoff game against tougher opponents your average will probably be less then someone who played less then half against weaker competition.
Kobe 131 playoffs game
Wade 54 playoffs game

Weaker competition?

Wade has played against better guards in the east than Kobe has in the west.

Wade's 54 games have come against better ACTUAL competition.

All I know is that Tyrone Luu shut down AI in the finals. Made that years MVP AI a non factor in the NBA Finals. What did J.Will do in the finals against Jason Terry...... Nothing. Everything else is irrelevant.

 Thanks for the laugh. You act like kobe played one on one.

For the record.....Wade has been matched up with (In order in his playoff career): Baron Davis, Reggie Miller, Vince Carter/Jefferson/Kidd, Gilbert Arenas, Rip Hamilton/Billups, Ben Gordon/Hinrich, Vince Carter/Jefferson/Jason Kidd, Rip Hamilton/Billups, Josh Howard/Stackhouse, Gordon /Hinrich

Who were Kobe's matchups? Raja Bell, Doug Christie?

You are confusing better TEAM competition with ACTUAL competition.
