LeBron James...PROOF that Loyalty DOESN'T MATTER...

Some guys get overrate db/c they won but gasol is nto nearly as good as he is perceived. he's a good player, people act like he's one of the best players in the league and he is not. What did he do w/o Kobe and Lakers?

of course, the talent around kobe is better now than the talent around Lebron in Cle BUT the games would be closer than you think. The team in Cle is not the same talent that was around Lebron.

Antwan was a good complimentary player, a guy lebron could have won w/ if he was as great as people think. he didn't need a ready made all star team to win but he chose the easy way out to try to Alonzo Mourning his way to a title.
Yeah, all Gasol did was average 20 points, 10 rebounds and 2 blocks on the Grizzlies. Pretty mediocre. :bobdole:

You are the only person on Earth that really believes the Lakers wouldnt obliterate the Cavs minus Lebron and Kobe. You really think its a coincidence that the Cavs went from a top regular season team to the worst team in the league by far as soon as Lebron left? Maybe its because they lost Delonte West and Shaq

Jamsion averaged 22 and 10 w/ the Wizards- did that make him great?

Gasol is a very good player, people talk about him like he is great. he's not.

Cle was going to be alot worse w/o Lebron obviously but this isn't the same team that was around him plus they have had a ton of injuries to deal with. if that same team around Lebron was healthy and together they would be winning alot more games- still alot worse than w/ Lebron of course but they'd be winning alot more games.

You need to stop being so biased just to get your point across. Zo did what was best for him at his age to win a title. The same thing that you gave Barkely, Ray Allen, and Garnett a pass for. Zo was more of a contributor the whole season in his last stint with the Heat than that fat *** lazy Shaq. I do find it funny that you've put an age limit to when its alright for a player to move on and now which players are allowed to move on.

Zo stole millions from the Nets and Raptors. The Nets were the only team willing to give him millions after his kidney ailment and he treated them by quitting on them and demanding a trade.

Of course there is an age limit, the great players don't want to hop onto another team. They try for years then when they can't they try somewhere else. Barkely was old when he went to Houston, Ray Allen isn't a superstar so let's not discuss him, Garnett didn't want to leave Minnesota.

nyjunk is definitely trolling. Kobe never won anything with average talent and that's why he wanted a trade in the first place. Kobe needed Shaq and Gasol to get it done. FACT.

Gasol? Really? You're gonna ask what Gasol did before Kobe and the Lakers? Give me a ****ing break.

He was in ****ing MEMPHIS. Goddamn Memphis.

And you're REALLY trolling if you're trying to tell us Antwan Jamison is having are bad year because he's old.

LMAO. Just admit it man. Each post is getting more and more retarded at this point.

LeBron isn't piggy backing his way to a title. He did the right thing by getting out of Cleveland where he wouldn't have won a title...ever.

Kobe wanted a trade, he wanted to take the Lebron easy route but luckily for him he didn't get his wish.

The lakers obviously have more talent than Cle did around lebron but they didn't have enormous talent around Kobe.

It's sad that a player as great as Lebron admitted defeat rather than do everything he could to bring the team that drafted him a championship.

So it's ok for help to come to the superstar when the franchise goes out and gets the help...

But not ok for the superstar to go get his own help when his former franchise never bothered to get him the help he needed....

Got it...that certainly makes all the sense in the world. Why would anyone want to help themself when they can sit around and wait for others to help them.

And I just reread this....

Hooooooooooooooooly crooked cow ****.

You can't seriously believe that LeBron didn't do everything he could to get a title to Cleveland. Dude stayed thru two contracts. Literally carried that team on his back to the playoffs. Begged for help from Dan Gilbert. Dude did EVERYTHING he could to win a title with Cleveland.

Did you see how he quit last year? Did yous ee how he choked the last few years? He's only in his mid 20s, he wants championships handed to him.

Yea, he is so selfish. Has not earned anything in his life. Everything has been given to him.

Who said he hasn't earned anything in his life? Obviously he's been coddled since he was little and they discovered his gift but he got tired of trying to earn his championship by carrying a team and wanted to join an all-star team ready made to win a title. He's nowhere near the competitor that Jordan was, he never would have done that. if you give Micahel the Cleveland teams of the past 3-4 years he has at least one championship by now but I guess it's not fair to copare Lebron to Michael.

Remember when Kobe quit a few times to send a message? LeBron can only do so much on his own. Kobe could only do so much on his own. Dudes need help man. Neither one of them was getting it. Admit it.

I dont think so. Maybe mike with the cavs and Phil Jackson as the coach...Then yea maybe they win something.... Lebron wanted out of Cleavland. Face it. He wanted to play with his friends..They may still not even win the title. Your just mad that he is not a Knick. Just own up to it. If he was in NY right now you would have 10 Jerseys. Get over it.

By the way, this notion of "handed to him" is foolish. This is the NBA. This is professional basketball. Whatever you get is earned. Nothing is handed to anyone.

Exactly, and why the hell should he leave it up to Gm's and coaches who he plays for. He had 32 teams wanting his services. He found 2 other guys that he trusts and decided, hey I wanna play with them in the greatest city in the world.
