Madison on Kohou

If they could only get Byron Jones back and Howard could get over his groin injury, the addition of Kohou
would make the secondary more what is was the past two years than the struggling secondary it has been most of this season.
It looked like X was listed on the injury report as Vet Rest. No injury designation.

Fingers crossed that that's all behind him.

I didn't think he had a shot at getting back to himself until the bye, but the sooner the better.

He has saved the secondary from complete collapse this season. Sure he’s gotten burned a few times himself, but he’s basically the only guy right now that you have confidence in to get a stop in a crucial situation, with X not being himself
Agreed.

A couple burns for a rookie is expected. Only a couple burns for a UDFA rookie from a division 2 school is astounding!

Maybe that takes away the need for a corner high in the draft?

Kohou has been a terrific find.
Hard to say at this point. X may be on a career steep downside. He is at that age. Who knows about Jones? He may never be the same again.

Even with Kohou looking like a good starting quality corner, there isn't much else in the cupboard.

Kohou could have a bright future with the Fins, because IMO they should start looking to replace Jones and Howard as soon as their contracts allow it. Miami is NOT getting their money's worth from those two... time to move on. The money saved would go a long way toward acquiring more outside talent and keeping their own young talent when their rookie contracts are up.

With Needham injured and a pending F/A, and the uncertainty surrounding Byron Jones', ability to come back from his injury, along with Xavien Howard's inconsistent play this year. CB has to be a high priority come the offseason. Whether by the draft, F/A or both; Miami needs to find healthier players who can potentially contribute consistently on GameDay.

In spite of Kohou's assention into a potential starter and possible star. The secondary hasn't looked very good so far in 2022. DB needs to be addressed.
