McMike - Are you kidding me?

Hey LithiumMan,

How the hell do you know that this was a bad draft? You can't make a judgement on a draft class until 2-3 years down the road.

Oh I forgot you're Miss Cleo and you must know that all our draftees from 2005 and not on the team anymore since you can see ahead 2 years down the road.

Well then Miss Cleo...tell me who wins the Superbowl in 2006 so I can bet the bank on that team.

Wow you have problems...no doubt.

Go Fins!!!

not to quibble, but mcmichael isn't "waiting" for anything. he didn't hold out. he didn't threaten to hold out. he came out and said he wasn't going to hold out. i'm not sure what the fans want. yes, he could play better, but we complain about contract demands that haven't even occurred yet? at what point do fans ever see the player's side? are we all siding with the billionaires over the millionaires all the time? are we all future billionaires? gotta live the american dream, i guess.

the team is going to decide what's best for the future. that decision is going to occur in the future. mcmichael will have to step up this year in order to earn his contract, that's for sure, but he hasn't even missed any time due to contract demands.

you learn something new in every thread. i just learned that you can judge a draft before the fourth PRESEASON game. but fans aren't impatient or anything...

NFL teams dont trade away very good players in the last year of their contracts with noone worth a damn to replace him, just to get some value for a guy who you THINK wont resign with the team.

i do it in madden, but this isnt madden.

Dude, it happens all the time. Ogunleye ring a bell? That is what the franchise tag is for.

Actually...TE isn't only for catching...it's a position where you need to do both...catch and block.

It also depends on the offensive system...some systems call for the TE to block more than catch and vice versa.

Example...the TE's on the Steelers usually stay in and block...it isn't because their QB can't throw the ball.

Your whining and attitude is horrible. You need to chill and take a breather from being up McMike's jock...buddy.

Your thinking is flawed...and McMike is becoming more expendable...face it.

Go Fins!!!

STFU. Your babbling is annoying. I said, When we can use a passing TE, let me know. Thats because McMichael is a passing TE, DUH!!! I said, if you want a blockign TE, then get Dwayne Carswell, DUH!!!!!!

Go suck on something, and STFU.

From what I have seen from the second half of last season through the 3rd preseason game this year he hasn't been much of a passing/receiving TE either.

You got that right. It dont even take 3 pre-season games. I called it right after draft in April.

It dont matter anyways, Randy is still in his first contract. Does anyone have a clue what that means next year? I doubt it.

Why of course not, he hasn't made your lil' boy under center look like a superstar. That should ring a bell for you and your lil' boy. The Birdman.

I like McMichael and do believe he's a top 10 TE in this league but top 5 may be stretching it. IMHO a top 5 player at their position should never look like the worst player on the field like Randy did on Saturday preseason or not. He needs to play consistantly before I can give him the top 5 nod whether he led a very bad offensive team in receptions last year or not. Randy McMichael has always been a "golden boy" on finheaven who can't do no wrong. Some posters need to open there eyes as I can name 2 or 3 games right off the top of my head that we lost where had McMichael made a play, the play he was supposed to make, we could have won. I don't care what he does this season, if he's inconsistant the Dolphins shouldn't give him a big contract.
