Merged: Feeley the man

lol, all of you people who hop back and forth need to get a clue.

seriously, be consistant with something.

It was one preseason game which was horrible on all parts of the offense, give Gus a chance before you castrate him ffs...

Flip Flop? No that is Gus fans. See Gus fans use the same excuses for him that they blast fans that for using for AJ. THAT is a double standard. It isnot flipflopping to say that their stats have been about equal but Gus had shown more poise and comfort in the system and if that continued he should start. AJ looked lost under pressure til last nite. He was panicked until last nite. I call it like I see it good or bad, fan of or not fan of. I dont say one thing one week and another the next, I leave that to teh Gus supporters or the real descriptive "anybody but AJ" fans. See the "ABAJ" fans use the same criteria with the same results to say AJ shouldnt start and Gus should.

Twist words and scenarios all you like, I can read them anyway.

Your right, AJ should have just flung teh ball deep regardless of whether he had an option deep. Silly AJ trying to take the open receiver while being under pressure and facing a sack. What was he thinking.

Whatever, twist it any way you want. He had a good game against the Pats and that was it. It wasn't spectacular like some here would have us believe. It was the typical just do enough to win QB performance we've all grown tired of.

I will say that Feeley seemed to read the defense and he moved in the pocket A LOT better than he usually does. He did not seem clueless, despite quite a few blitzes, stunts, etc.

I didn't get to see the game, so that is something I like to hear. Perhaps he is finally showing some signs of progressing. Now can he do that consistently? That's the big question.

I aint twisting anything. Good response. The point? When AJ did try to go deep last year while under pressure, bad things happened and he was crucified. Last nite he was under sign pressure alot and he didnt panic and didnt force the ball somewhere it didnt belong. He checked down to second and third options which he was also criticized for not being able to do.

I am also NOT saying AJ is teh starter because of last nite, he just enters teh thoughts again.

Oh and dont you find it funny the same people who were saying forget teh stats last week are now using stats?

You can be an AJ fan, you can be a Gus fan, it doesn't matter because they're both scrubs. Neither one of them can lead you to a superbowl. I'm a Dolphins fan and unfortunately from everything we've seen so far including last night, Gus is the lesser of 2 evils.

In my opinion we should have went after Kurt Warner, or Trent Dilfer in the offseason, or should still go after Phil Rivers in San Diego. I know his contract is up for grabs. We've got to have something that San Diego would want in trade for him...

P.S. it's "the" not "teh", stop trying to use 1337 on the phins fan site

Ferotte looked HORRIBLE tonite gawd his arm is weaker than i thought and he is so inaccurate. There was a couple of throws were he led recivers right into a brick wall, i dont blame em for droping 1

Feeley was perfect throwing the ball till Minor fumbled and was on his way to putting points on the board till MANN fumbled on the 35yrd line.
i know it was against 2nd Team but isnt that how Ferotte gained a slight advantage over Feeley?

How can you say Feeley was perfect!! When's the last time he threw a touchdown??? Hmmmm.... Last year!! :yell:

Ah, is someone having a tizzy cause their qb looked bad? Funny people claim apples to oranges yet there side cant compare apples to apples. Truely funny.

I wasn't even talking about last night's game. Someone brought up the Pats game and referred to Feeley's performance in that game as mint. It wasn't mint. It was incredibly Fiedler-esque.

My point was less than 200yds on 35 attempts is not a "mint" performance and that we need a QB who will win games instead of playing not to lose them. BTW, I did say that was my point in the original post.

Actually he had a valid point. AJ hasn't thrown a td since last year.

Strong point here. I agree.

Did I say that he does?

Why is it that every time someone is critical of one QB, people assume it is because they are in favor of the other? You know what they say about when you assume...
