b4 you guys start jumping on the Gus Bus remember he was playin against Chicagos 2nd Team.....

If he wuda started he would have been out with a concussion by the 2nd series.

I really hope he does well next week!

So you didn't notice Gus move around? For example that early pass to Chambers? Feeley looks like a deer in the headlights, and Gus does not, that's a big difference.

Also you try to put Gus down for beating the Chicago 2nd team, which is more than Feeley has shown so far.

i dont understand why everyone says they dont like Gus... for what reason? The only reason i ever hear is that he is "old". Give me a break. I personally dont care who wins the QB position as long as they win games. And according to tonight, it looks like Gus may be able to do that. Granted he is with the second team etc. so i really cant see much until he starts this weekends game at Jacksonville but so far, i give it to Gus. And until someone gives me a LEGITIMATE reason for disliking the guy... i like him.

its actually amazing that so many people are against him. After all, he did everything he could to help wonderboy learn the offense. He could've been a d!ck and said "AJ learn it on your own", but he didn't, he was cool about it and answered any question he had.

gus has a gun and a quick release, he also has vet savy, he will give us the best chance to win this year

you want gus to start so you can have two guaranteed wins against us.
gus and his old age wont stand a chance against the pats.
in this game, he only looks at one damn receiver and throws it his way all teh damn time.

Do you even know who you are talking about?! Gus is not the one locking on to one receiver and not making any adjustments. That was Feeley! I have no beef with Feeley or Gus and whoever starts... starts. But the thing that pisses me off about Feeley is that he just doesnt adjust to what the defense is bringing. Ferrotte on the other hand, made adjustments over and over again and THAT is why he got down the field and in the endzone. And i might be wrong but isnt he also the one that led them down for the field goal? I thought that was still against the first team.

Gus looks much more relaxed in there.

One benefit I think he has (other than knowing the system better), is Boston has been in more while he's been out there. IMO, the corners have to move out of Boston's way (due to his size), and he's getting the better position on them.

AJ picked up where he left last year, getting knocked on his a$$. Gus was actually making some nice passes. I am on the bus with Gus.

I'll decide after the last pre-season game. By then the qb's would have expierenced both first and second defenses.

gus went up against 2 stringers...lol..relax guys..aj didnt look very good tho

On a side note DUDEMAN we got that cup this year baby sid the kid

I'm sorry but to me Gus just doesn't seem to do it for me. Yes he did not look bad. But he did have some throws that did not really impress me at all. The touchdown was damn lucky because it was behind receiver. On another throw he threw it up and it looked weak. At least to me it did. It looked like it just died in mid air. And all of this against second string defense well he should look pretty decent against 2nd stringers. lets wait til next week to see how he looks against actual starters.
