If a good teams running back goes down early, and TRicky is back in shape, they will be more than willing to trade a 2nd for him, and thats plenty.

This year? I believe they would take a more proven commodity in Travis Henry, Sean Alexander, or Edge before taking Ricky Williams who must prove he can still play after a year off.

While Ricky may recoup some trade value for next season, I cant see a team giving up a 2nd this year for him, if they could have one of the others, who remain proven, instead.

I usually agree with you but this is just wishful thinking. Maybe you throw away a second day pick to gamble on Ricky Williams.

Possible, but it would have to fit in a very narrow window of time.
Ricky serves a 4 game suspension, which means his first game in which he could show he still has it would be Oct 16th at Tampa. Any team interested in Ricky after seeing him play would have to get a trade done sometime Monday the 17th because Tuesday the 18th is the trade deadline.

Sorry guys, But that is a BS post. I just watched the show, and Cole is saying its a rumor from a good source. But he can't say for sure whether WIlliams is going to return. He said he didn't wanna get quoted by other News Sources, and end up looking like a fool. So it's still up in the air.

A narrow window, and desperation was why I said if a Rb on a real good team goes down around week4 that it could happen.
