I'm always curious about the thread raters...almost 15 pages in, and 5 stars? Who is a Dolphin fan that likes the fact that Wake may be set to hold out?
I have never attended a game so I am shocked to hear a beer is $10! How can they justify that? Please tell me that they are at least a litre!
And even on your chosen list, its somehow its a bad thing that he is 9th out of 75? Its a bad thing he is more disruptive per snap than Tamba Hali(roughly $12 million a year), Julius Peppers($14 million), and Charles Johnson($12 million)? He deserves far less than any of those players even though he performs better by your own measuring formula?

Wake's approach is expected to be determined primarily by the "pace and progress of negotiations." Miami will likely have to clear cap space before granting Wake his contract wish. He signed that contract...No one twisted his arm to sign
now he want's more $$$$$ Great he deserves more but
where is his character to honor his original contract.
Don't care about if he can get injured at any time and I believe Wake knew
this before he signed his contract otherwise he's an imbecile.
YOU HONOR THE CONTRACT...THEN STAY-GO AND GET WHAT YOU FEEL
YOU DESERVE.
The way Wake and his agent decided to go this route knowing we were
cash strapped with the salary cap is despicable by both Wake and his agent
I have lost so much respect for Wake that at this point I could care less if we trade him
for draft picks.
When I see these guys getting payed at least half a million dollars to play a sport I don't once feel sorry for them. No human is worth that much change.
Jared Allen must be worth 25 million a year

16-20 oz cup maximum. They charge so much b/c people look forward to getting drunk at games
Yep it gives us the delusion the Dolphins are playing good football!
Hey buddy, PFF was your measuring formula, and your reasoning why he should be paid like Julius Peppers. You can spin it any way you want, but Cam Wake isnt getting that kind of money. Bottom line is he was not near the top statistically, only 2 years of starting experience, and being 30 years old. I love the guy and I thik we should pay him, but your'e crazy to want to pay him that kind of money. If Cam Wake is demanding Julius Peppers money, he's basically asking to be traded, cause it aint happening.
Well the other side of that coin is that the franchise doesn't always honor contracts either. They can terminate it at any time & often ask players to restructure and take less money. It's a two-way street in that regard, but I guarantee you players around the league are looking at what happened to Matt Forte. You're upset because this might affect the Dolphins, but if you were in his position you might not feel the same way. The guy is in his 30's & if he blows his knee out this year he may never get another shot at a big contract. The fact that the Dolphins are cap-strapped is the Front Office's fault, not his.
