I was calling for it to happen very soon and in fact I said that I think there's a good chance he might not survive this particular game.

I mean, people can go around saying yeah yeah whatever we all saw he was getting hit too much, but I quantified it to where it was a virtual certainty that not only was he definitely going to get hurt, but it was going to happen sooner rather than later. Getting hit at a rate 7 standard deviations outside the NFL norm is not sustainable very long. And looking at his aggressive demeanor during these games, it didn't look like he was going to get any less aggressive to start taking fewer hits...if anything he was getting more aggressive and physical with his running. He was sliding less safely, or not at all, including the play in question.
 
I always liked Sage. I think if he hadn't had that meltdown in for the Texans in a game against the Colts a couple of years back, he'd be starting for somebody.
 
Just heard Adam Shefter say we were signing Sage Rosenfels again....Wow, that's the best we can get!!!

I'd rather have Gerrard. At least he went through a training camp this off season. Sage hasn't thrown a pass in a few years. We need a guy who is a little more fresh. He's only asking for a million per.

I hope that none of qbs play well... If we dont take a qb with our first pick I think I am gonna puke.
