How convenient of you. Nice selective editing. How about we take ALL their regular season games for as long as both players have been playing together in the same leauge. That would be since 2001 -- and lucky for you, Cole's rookie season with only 350 yards and 1TD is the season that won't be counted. Any reasonable person would agree that's the fairest way to compare the two.
While Coles (4,286) has about 800 yards more than CC (3478) over 4 years (200 yards a year), CC has 9 more TDs. Which gap is more important is for anyone to decide. also, YPC for coles is 13.4, while CC is 1s 14.9 -- not huge, but makes a difference.
So you're right, you should keep "ignoring the fact that Coles has better #s overall" cause it isn't true. Nice try though.
Reg season #s:
Coles 342 recs, 4656 yds, 20 TDs
Chambers 233 recs, 3478 yds, 28 TDs
Coles has started 14 more games but he has 109 more recs and 1178 yds more yards so he has w/o question been the more productive player. I just brought up Dec b/c maybe it would make the comparison a little more fair for Chambers.
