He was a special teams "Mad man" for the Fins.

Played 1996 - 2000 for us.
 
Wow talk about conflicting reports. Earlier Finsflurry reports that Donald Lee is dropping passes...you say he is as good as McMichale. He says Tolver is starring you say he should get cut. You say Bua looks like Izzo who never cracked the starting lineup, he says he looks great.

Thanks to all of you for confusing the rest of us. None of it matter until the real season kicks off. How many times have players looked great in preseason and then disappeared against the league starters? Too many to count.

Thansk for your assesment. I am sure your review of the level of offense and defense is on the money. I can't see how this offense can compete at a high level this year. Just not enough talent.
 
So if AJ has been playing well and Jay hasnt why is Jay still the starter for the Jax game.?:huh:

Because Jay and Wannstedt are kinda... you know..... :groucho:
 
I thought it was to give Feeley an extra week of preparation learning the playbook as well as he can so we get a more accurate and fair assesment of his skills vs Jay.
 
I'm not sure it matters who starts a preseason game. AJ will get his reps, as will Jay. It all matters in September who is starting.

. Otis Grisby is a high energy, high motor, don't quit LDE....sound familiar?
. Larry Chester is a rock........
. Is our defense this good? Or is our Offense this bad?
. Did we just run a play that has a 5 yard hitch pattern on the far side of the field?
. Did Jay Fiedler just throw it that way...and almost got it intercepted for the 4th time today?
. I have never seen this many footballs rolling along the grass at any Football practice at any level.....
. Well....at least Taylor Whitley looks the part......

good post section, now if what you ask can be answered with a resounding yes, these guys can get the job done, then we're set.

I'm pretty sure Sec was saying that Bua was a special teams wizard, not putting him down.

he played for miami on special teams laid some serious hits on people, he was room mates with zack thomas and he played with the same attitude as zack. he went to the probowl when he was with miami 2 years ago!
 
section, it looks like you made snap notes off of just individual plays you saw. Especially on the individual players like Tolver, Chester, Grigsby, Smith and Pope.
