Because I like the way they're playing so much, I have them going to the Final Four. You know, I was a bit hesitant on them going into the MWC Tourney, but they "wowed" me, especially in that title game. They've got everything, plus a coach that's won it all before.
That's my favorite, but this year, it's really anyone's game.
I think it will be a close game, but I think Clemson will win that one.anyone watching the uab-clemson game tonight? should be a good one. I am calling it now and saying uab will win.
Are you just playing devil's advocate or do you really believe this?

Dude, A LOT of people watch NCAA basketball. College basketball is different that college football. People LOVE the little guy in the tournament, but they don't really watch them in football. If you really hate this tournament as you say you do, go find another thread to post in. There are plenty of them. You're in the minority here in this one.
The smaller schools might not win a lot of the games, but the games are still exciting whatever round it is.
Well, I'm off to Denver to see my Cardinals (and the other teams at that site) play! Wheels up at noon on our charter flight!
UNLV won it once. A commuter school in the middle of a casino town. EVERYONE in Vegas was a fan back then, and many still are. People still talk about those games, even if the team in question didn't go on to win the whole thing. ****, even Duke, they're a small private university in North Carolina.
Michigan's Fab Five. People still talk about them, even if they didn't win the whole shooting match. You probably couldn't name any of the UNC players (well Junc probably could) that played against Michigan in that 1993 title game.
It goes on and on like that.
The games, the atmosphere, that's why people watch it. I really don't care who wins it, mostly because my team (Miami) is never in it, I just enjoy watching it for the craziness surrounding the whole thing.
If they were THAT exciting and people actually watched the first round and these upsets happened as often as you guys claim they do, the NCAA and the networks would find a way to get these games in primetime slots.
That's not me being a hater, that's just the truth. You want to maximize revenue and you do that thru ratings. You can't put #2 v. #15 in primetime if no one watches it.
Check out the time slots for the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight. The Sweet 16 games are all 7:00PM or later. The Elite Eight gets great afternoon slots on the weekend. Wonder why that is?
Strange.
The starting 5 was:
Derrick Phelps
Donal Williams
Brian Reese
George Lynch
Eric Montross
Some reserves:
Pat Sullivan
Kevin Salvadori
Henrik Rodl
Dante Calabria
Matt Wenstrom
Ed Geth
Larry Davis
Travis Stephenson
:D
There are 16 games a day the first 2 days, you can't put them all in prime time. That's silly, are all 16 NFL games in prime time on Sundays?
Clemson gets the ACC off to a good start beating up UAB. Up next for Clemsonn is a win over west Virginia tomorrow.
