NFL.Com QB Rankings: Moore, Henne Worst In League

the bottom line is matt moore is not good enough...i don't care if you think he's in the tail end of the top 20 which i think is a bit much or if you have him as close to 30 or over the guys not damn good enough to take us anywhere...except the top half of round 1...

and all that bs about moore finishing 12th in qbr or whatever that crap is people bring up here you got to be a fool to think that matt moore sniffs the top 12 of nfl qbs...or you see things through some serious aqua and orange...

oh and slow the roll on that sanchez was close to top 10 stuff a couple years ago....that also reeks of homerism...the one thing that sanchez can hang his hat on is in the postseason the 2 years he's gotten his chance he's not made the mistakes that beat you and made a few plays...so you can't blame him for anything in the postseason...but he's still as inconsistent as ever over a 16 game season...good luck taking that out of him...maybe with sparano there the jets will go back to ground and pound and throw off pa which limits mark sanchez exposure...play it a lot closer to the vest...cause thats what sanchez has shown me needs to happen...he needs to be a part of the equation but not the catalyst...i hope sparano keeps the quick slant in the playbook cause sanchez executes that throw about as well as anyone in the business and santonio holmes runs it to perfection...

and thats it...i'm sick of hearing about mark freakin sanchez and the damn jets in every thread on this board...its like its an obsession with people around here...

Last line..Epic.

and tebow is better who cant throw a ball ten yards further then my nine year old

Stupid ranking. total crap. lets be honest matt moore is not 31. no matter how much clowns on this board think any and every first round pick we may make is going to be dan marino - matt moore is a decent option and is a middle range QB in this league.

The homers may not like the ranking of Moore, but now you know what most NFL people think of our QB situation.

Philbin wants to build through the draft. Let's hope Ireland knows a good QB - he's yet to prove it.

Tebow can throw your 9 year old 30 yards.

Tebow had the same yards per attempt that Sanchez had yet had a lower completion ratio. The reason is that he only threw downfield, almost never throwing dump passes. Tebow had a amazing amount of 20 plus and 40 plus yard completions per attempt. Tebow played the role the Broncos wanted him to play. Run the ball, do not give the ball away and keep the score close then win the game.

This journalist is pretty clueless.
I wont try and say Moore should be in the top 15, but, we all know he wasn't THAT bad. For a guy in a Daboll system with Brandon Marshall droppin passes left and right, I'd say he did more than okay.

Matt Moore came in in a new offense that really did not have a clue after having no training camp. Dabell's offense took more then half the season to get going at all. Moore had almost no practice reps until he became the starter. Until the end of the year he had no running game and he made things happen, he moved the chains and made plays. C Clay was hurt, D Thomas was hurt and B Marshall was demanding the ball and going into "beast mode". Not to mention having a RT that allowed everyone to get into the backfield.

I think Matt Moore is a solid QB until I'm proven wrong. He won games for us last season.

Cut down on sacks, get better running out of D Thomas, have R Bush both running and catching passes out of the backfield, have C Clay pick up where he left off, bring back the old D Bess, see another season of improvement from B Hartline, (we have the youngest WR corp in the NFL) and add C Gates to the gameplan and I can see us having a good season.

I'm not a pie in the sky person but I can see this happening.

This season we have a new head coach and a new offense, our offense will be slow coming out of the gate but we can play. I'm more worried about our pass rush and finding 3 very good corners and a couple of safeties then I am our offense.

Stop whining about players that are not here and let's hope that our new coaches can get 100% out of the ones we have. I truly believe that we can be at least 2nd in our division.

If you're down and confused
And you don't remember why
These are the players we are talking to
Concentration slips away
Cos your franchise QB is so far away

[Chorus]
And give Ireland a fisted glove
And the Seahawk craps from above
And if you can't have the QB
You love Dolphin Fans
Love the one you have

Don't be angry don't be sad
Don't sit crying over good
QBs you had
There's a player, right next to you
And he's just waiting for something
To do

[Chorus]

Calm down and do what you can
He's a QB and you're a fan
So get it together make it nice
And you won't need any more advice

[Chorus]

When Ireland is with another team
drafting a good QB will pick up steam
take him early like we should
and our chances will then be good

We aren't winning anything with Matt Moore.

1. Worst list Ever. Flawed in every way
2. Even the Moore haters know he is better than that
3. I would rather eat fried horse dookie than listen to Junc talk about Sanchez

Jason Smith is a DIE-HARD Jets fan. Used to do nightly radio shows for years I listened too. HATES Miami with a passion. Take his rankings with a grain of salt

I'm taking the positive from Smith's post/rankings. Even that die hard Jets fan is admitting that Moore was an upgrade over Henne. Ha ha.

GO PHINS~!

I just posted a comment on there telling him how confused he is.

Matt Moore is ranked 1 spot lower than he should be. He is #30. Thats a perfect rating for him.

He's not good. He's barely average.

Tebow made plays to help his team reach the playoffs and win a playoff game. I don't think tebow can play QB long term in this league(unless he dramatically improves) but based on his body of work vs. Moore's you'd have to rate Tebow ahead of him though strictly as a QB I'd rather have Moore than tebow going forward.

he didn't end up as the 12th best QB, stats tell PART of the story. He did a good job w/ no pressure to win the 2nd half of the season, he was nowwhere near the 12th best QB in the league and any unbiased rankings will have him in that 25-32 range going into 2012.

Getting off your Dolphins suck platform for a second, what about every other QB who had "no pressure to win b/c wins aren't important in the NFL" that was "ranked" above him? Do you agree with Moore being the 2nd worst QB in the NFL?
