Nfl Combine Discussion Thread

I only saw a little bit of the drills today. The one where Dion called Greedy out for his flat feet, that's a very worrying drill, it's not even close to being acceptable. The speed is great but I'm not sold on the kid gotta say.

Fans fall in love with these guys that test great at the combine with no pads on. Study game tape of them playing in pads against equal competition is a different story.
The Michigan guys- Gary and Bush- good players but missing in action against Ohio State, Notre Dame. Neither are that good.
Same this year with Oliver- he should have dominated that weak conference. He didnt.
Unfortunately I think the Fins draft Lock.
Hard to have an impact from the locker room. Bush was injured before the half at ND and midway through the 3rd quarter at OSU. Still managed 6 tackles in each and a sack in the opener

I saw that too. I don't see a Corner that I want to draft at 13 tbh. I'm still hoping we go D-line if we stay at 13.

Totally agree. Nasir Adderly is the DB I would be targeting but 13 is too high, trade down to the 20's and pick up a first in 2020 is my preferred route should Murray and Haskins be unobtainable.

I’m in the mindset of trading down into the 20-25 area and adding extra picks in the process. Lots of options if they trade down imo.

These are the guys I like that we may have a chance at. I stress may though because most likely all will be gone by 13 but one might slide.

I view each of these guys as a future game wrecker on D. I wish we didn't win that bullshvt pats game. Would've assured us one of these guys to build the defense around with X and Fitz.

Montez Sweat
Ed Oliver
Devin White
Rashan Gary

I thought David Long from Michigan looked really good today, and they said he interviewed extremely well with teams and was a smart kid. He may be a good 2nd-3rd round option. He ran fast too 4.45 range I believe, and had experience outside and at nickel so position versatility also. The top guys looked dissapointing, Baker and Murphy looked okay, Greedy was impressive in 40 and looked bad in drills.

Im tired of trying to fit square pegs in round holes. Hopefully Flores starts this change. I dont think Sweat and Gary are right for what they want to do. There are plenty of pieces in this draft that can fit fine. Go elsewhere.

Sweat maybe not, Gary im pretty sure could play in any system. Go elsewhere? lol na im stuck with this shvtty team.

I love this quote from him.

The coaches and GM are challenging kids. The more and more that time goes on the more I'm getting a little excited for the future with the men we have at the helm.

Also Ed Oliver is a dream for Miami to draft. Last year I'd never thought picking at 13 it would be feasible...
