Pouncey is one of the best centers in the league. He also is a great OG if needed. He works hard and can also pull on sweeps. Phins will keep him no problem.

Nobody is trying to convince themselves he's a stand up guy.

Just because he has some drugs in his house doesn't equal horrible person, yeah his involvement with Hernandez is a red flag but just because you have a dumbass friend doesn't make you a dumbass. Until he is found gulity of running illegal guns or drugs he's not a person people need to worry about.

Also if the guns are legal then him having guns is no big deal.

You don't think having a friend who is a gangster, and who has apparently been involved in several murders, and whom you publicly stood up for despite all the evidence against him, means nothing? That it could happen to anyone? That's without even looking at any of the other stuff.

Like Gonzo would say, yeah, friends of mine are arrested for murder all the time! C'mon dude. Gonzo is right on when he says the only reason we support him is because he's already on the team. If he were a FA from another team, we wouldn't want any part of him.

Long story short, Pouncy is a thug wannabe, he`s a good/great football player although very immature and dumb... OK let him finish his contract and see how he grows, I doubt he ever matures as a good leader as I pretty much agree with gonzo, he s a ticking time bomb and he`s going to screw up sooner rather than later, just make sure you have a backup plan when/if he does...
