The satisfaction with medocrity on the this board is astonishing.
Feidler is mediocre but the lineup to defend and love him is a mile long.
Wanny is mediocre but the lineup to defend and love him is a mile long.
This franchise will not get back to greatness until the fans begin to demand greatness.
With the talent on this team the last two years, it is absolutely unacceptable to miss the playoffs twice. Yet Feidler and Wanny were allowed to keep thier jobs and some of you still accept it.
Some of you need to lose the mantra that states...."Well we missed the playoffs but we won 10 games and just missed the playoffs so......"
That's good if you over-achieve with little talent and just missed the post-season. But this team under-achieved the last 2 years.
Talented teams that miss the playoffs is on the back of the coach.
So go ahead and continue to defend Wanny and see where it gets us this year.

Just my opinion that playoff teams are above average while Miami was mediocre last year.

Not under-achieved; that is the most craziest thing I have heard. Name one team last year that missed the playoffs that had the same amount of talent and pro-bowlers the we had. I am sorry for the amount of talent we had, we did under-achieve. Bottom Line'- head coach sucks. I think that was the real driving reason a certain someone quit on us.

Two years ago we had the league's leading rusher and a top 5 defense and still missed the playoffs. If THAT isn't under-achieve then I don't know what the hell is.

Miami fans seriously over estimate the overall talent level on the team. Carolina and Baltimore were very similar teams to Miami last year. Carolina won one more game and Baltimore was also 10-6.

The difference? Baltimore was in an easier division and their 10-6 record was good enough for the playoffs. Carolina was also in an easier division. Both teams had far superior offensive lines with equal talent on defense. The same could be said of the Cowboys.

Yeah but their coaches were better and actually made the offense gel some what. The problem with the line was all on DW and he should have cut them the year before. But no, he felt Ricky was gonna make the OL better and retained them. Good Job DW. When it all comes down to it, it is the coach. Put Tuna in here and I will bet we would make the playoffs. Look at what he did with Dallas last year. The thing with DW he shows no emotion its almosT like he is OK with losing and missing the playoffs.
