Henson is nothing like easy Ed. Hes never going to be a center, and right now the question is if hes strong enough to play in the post at all....hes probably going to measure in around 6'11, 210 lbs. He does have a much more diverse offensive repertoire than Ed though....started refining that trademark 'Sheed fadeaway last season to go along with his mid range jumper. Henson is a unique animal......I don't think there's ever been anything like him. Maybe Kirilenko comes the closest.

He has some post game, but unless he bulks up another 20 pounds at the very least and hits the weight room hard, I don't see it working much at the next level. His mid range jumper is still pretty inconsistent. The comparisons with Davis are certainly there. Henson is taller, longer, and more athletic, but the negatives between the 2 are very similar. Henson has a lot of shotblocking potential at the next level, but I don't see very much scoring in his future, and has a lot of work to do in the weight room to not get pushed around on defense/rebounds.

hensons a better prospect than ed davis...better defender better length has shown in college he can hit the 15 footer at times has some back to the basket post moves...decent feet...i think his upside is legit...but he needs to gain 20 lbs cause he's too soft...i think you can get 12 and 8 out of him in the near future...

i'm hearing a lot of 6ers and miles austin if he gets to them buzz...austins a ball hog not much of a passer at this point more a score first guy but he's got nice nba length and can get to the rim off the dribble...needs to finish more when he gets there but that will come in time...he's got nba 3 point range in his future also

meyers leanord reminds me of a longer more athletic version of the kris humphries kid...i'm hearing boston likes him a lot and i think he's got nice upside also...that height and that athleticism are rare...better prospect than vucevic to me...higher ceiling

I agree Henson is a better prospect than Davis. Still not a huge fan though. Or Tyler Zeller for that matter. But we need a shot blocker and Henson offers a lot of potential in that area.

I definately agree Leonard is a better prospect than Vucevic. I was never a huge fan of Vuc. I was really beating the Kenneth Faried drum. Really wanted that guy. Certainly didn't disappoint in Denver. One of the best rebounders in the league already. Had the best offensive rebound rate in the league.

I assume you meant Austin Rivers, not Miles Austin. Not a fan personally. Reminds me way too much of Lou Williams. Inefficient chucker that plays little defense. I want the 76ers to stay away from these types of player.

I don't know what to think about Henson. I definitely need to see him a little more.

Faried really surprised me this year. I knew he had a great motor, but at his height, I didn't think he was going to be as effective of a rebounder than he actually was. Great pickup by Denver.

We could definitely use Miles Austin, just on our football team. Our WRs are dreadful.

Rebounding is one thing that usually translates to the next level. Faried might be small, but he wants the rebound more than anybody else. Is strong. Is a great athlete. And has terrific rebounding technique.

From the few games I saw of Denver in the regular season and all their playoff games, he really showed me that he can rebound with the best of them.

Speaking of rebounding, ancient Marcus Camby was 1st and 2nd in both rebounds per 40 minutes and rebound rate, with Portland and Houston. Also high up there in blocks and defensive plays per 40, as well as post up defense, defensive rating, and block percentage. He's a FA, and someone I wouldn't mind bringing in on a cheap 1 year deal. Old as ****, but can still provide great defense and rebounding for 20 minutes a game.

whoops...yeah austin rivers...i recall talking with you last year predraft about vuc and you seemed to like him then...i remember saying he didn't show me much at usc...not good if he can't even get rotation minutes...you guys maxed out spencer hawes...never understood how that kid was a high draft pick off one season at washington as i recall

That stuns me. Even at his old age, he's still producing. He could be a nice replacement in the role that Tony Battie played. I wouldn't mind having him here.

I thought he was a decent prospect. Much preferred Faried though. Motiejunas, Marshon Brooks, and Jordan Hamilton were also guys I would of preferred.

Hawes is awful. Just a terrible, terrible player. Drafted high for offensive potential. But way too soft to ever develop the post game people thought he would.

hawes likes that 18 footer too much...and in the celtics series at times when you guys needed a big bucket it seemed like he would take em and miss em early in the shot clock and give you empty possessions...i don't think hawes would be awful in a very limited roll offense off the bench...his d is flat woeful...a non factor at anything

why the heck did you guys give up speights??? i liked what i saw from him in the memphis clippers series as energy and nasty disposition off the bench and he drilled his clean jumper looks

Because he's as dumb a player as you'll find. Collins doesn't like those types too well. Especially from bigs, as seen with Speights and Dummybert. And really, he's just not a good player. Offers nothing defensively. Not a great overall rebounder, but a decent offensive rebounder. Improvement over his 76ers days at least. Non-existent passing ability. I didn't watch many Grizzlies game, but he was always thought of as a chucker with the 76ers. If he was passed the ball, it wasn't touching anyone elses hands. Negative total PER, and a very low EFF rating. The only thing he really provides, is some scoring, but even managed to have his worst offensive year of his career. His mid range percentages were awful, and had a bad true shooting percentage. He was at least efficient with us.

The best thing for Speights is to get on a run and gun team like the Suns. He'll definitely be able to put up inflated scoring numbers on a team like that with a PG like Nash.

I don't even want to bring him up as a backup role. He can go somewhere else. Hawes is just awful.
