As if it wouldn't be gone to hell if Teddy 2 Gloves has to play? This happens almost every year. Guy is a good story and fun pre season player but holy hell our season will really have gone awry if he’s taking meaningful snaps for us this year.
If Teddy has to play a lot of games we are probably doomed but as a backup he can give you a chance in a game or two.As if it wouldn't be gone to hell if Teddy 2 Gloves has to play?
The 7th rounder that's never played an NFL snap!Tua or Skylar?
Keep him.
See how easy that was - LOL
Teddy is a slightly less worse Brisket. But we’re screwed if Teddy has to play significant meaningful time.As if it wouldn't be gone to hell if Teddy 2 Gloves has to play?
No I wasn’t offended at all. I enjoy watching him play but I don’t see him being anything more than the 3rd string QB. So unless Tua and Bridgewater go down, I just don’t expect to see him play again until next preseason.I will and I hope that is true . Did you get offended by my comment ? Lol
I will go out on a limb and say Thompson has outplayed Bridgewater so far. Unless Bridgewater lights it up next week against Philly, ST has earned the back up position in my opinion.
Personally I always like to root for the young guys and that is what preseason is all about. Even if they latch on elsewhereNo I wasn’t offended at all. I do think he has a very good chance of being Tua’s backup in 2023.
That can be said about every backup in the league. They are backups and not starters for a reason. If Teddy has to play a lot of games we are probably doomed but as a backup he can give you a chance in a game or two.
I am still more worried about the OL than the running back position. This offense will only be as effective as the OL allows it to be. They can’t keep allowing the running backs to get hit as soon as the ball is handed off.The thing everyone should be talking about and worried about is the Running game not the QBs.
