Fields against 1s would get lit up on his rollouts. All it takes is 1 then he stops the rollout-fake-run-pass BS.
Imagine wasting your time to troll this hard. Was not at camp watching Tua practice, so.i can't say. I only saw first preseason game, i saw the same Tua.
Never developed as a passer. Allen and Jackson have. So all I was saying in a rookie year a QB CAN get by and win enough with his legs as primary option.
Plenty of decisions between the 40th and 60th players on this team. Don't let the 86th man blowing a play for the whole unit distract you from that.Yeah there probably won't be a lot of difficult decisions getting down to 53.
That’s funny because I don’t count that interception because if we had Randy Moss he woulda snatched it out of the air for the TD.I don't count the Gesicke pass, it was late. Would have been a TD
Not care one way or the other. However I want to see improvement in Tua. He showed me none.So...how bad do you want to win this game?
because they're 21-22 years old still learning, duh...
I wasn’t referring to what you said. It was another poster. Was not at camp watching Tua practice, so.i can't say. I only saw first preseason game, i saw the same Tua.
Fields might not ever be good. However, he has a strong toolset (arm strength, size, running ability) that you can be patient with for the upside. Similar to Allen.People gotta realize that it's entirely possible a QB like Fields can come out as a rookie and play well since he can make throws with limited reads and make plays with athletic ability, and it's also entirely possible that he doesn't ever elevate his play beyond that. People also gotta realize that he could come in early and win more games for a questionable regime in Chicago than Dalton or Foles, but the better thing for Chicago and Fields longterm may be to actually have this guy learn progressions and reading the defense before he takes the field and learns to rely on instincts to succeed. Do NFL teams ever do that these days, in the absence of a QB like Aaron Rodgers or Alex Smith? No. Do we have a lot of QB's who come in and peak early and don't ever advance their game beyond their first or second seasons? Yes.
