Must win game. Time for Tua after this game if we lose in my opinion - even with expanded playoffs, I don't see us making playoffs if we lose, so get Tua out there to learn on the job. Bear in mind, I didn't really expect to make the playoffs this year anyway, I see it as happening in year 3.

Now, as for tonight's game, we need to see something from the D. They've been so, so bad through the first two weeks. Absolutely no pass rush. If the players aren't getting it done, DC needs to scheme something. A lot of money and picks gone into that D, and it is not looking like money well spent.

I fancy Fitz & the boys to put up points, even on a short week on the road, so this is on the D. Step up.
 
Joe dirt is crafty. Don’t underestimate how crafty he is. He can beat you with his off script play. And he’s made improvements with his on script play.
 
Well, I woke up with this version of this song in my head this morning, thinking about prepping for the game. Not sure what that means, but...

Jags can probably eliminate Preston tonight with rookie cj henderson at corner. He looks the part in the game I saw. Should they decide to play dvp with a safety over the top situationally which I would.

and gesickis gonna have a tougher go at clearing that lb level vs the jags than he did vs the bills depth jags.

although he might get favorable matchups vs their safety level. You can’t really play him with a nickel corner cause he wins more now vs that finesse type.

The hope here is that ... like us, they don't have much of a pass rush. So, hopefully this will give the guys time to get free.

better watch out for josh Allen. I’m sure they are gonna try and move him around to create favorable matchups or blown protections. Him and chiasson. Hybrid types. Line up in gaps etc
 
Don’t let dvp beat us is gonna be the theme of the dc season until either Preston steps up or tua comes in and takes our qb execution and play level to another level.

there are no other answers. Gesicki won’t threaten folks enough til he runs thru contact. So they will live with what he gives us.

it’s not a hard formula for a dc to gameplan against.

I don't really think Offense is the issue. They looked pretty good in the 2nd half on Sunday.

It's the D that needs to cop on.
 
Jacksonville seems light years ahead of Miami in year one of their rebuild. They look to have some nice pieces already in place on both offense and defense. Whereas Miami seems to be struggling with the players they've selected outside of Kindley, Jackson and Brandon Jones; who've shown promise.

CJ Henderson has the look of a star. Minshow is very underrated as a QB. The Jags also have a very underrated group of WR's and Two young pass rushers in Chassion and Allen. Miami has nothing like that yet.

im just telling you how dcs are gonna play us. It’s obvious on tape. The only threat they have to plan for is dvp.

preston needs to start by getting better at the top of the route.

Tua could take everything to another level but we aren’t playing him so...no ones scared of fitz

Miami should have mixed in more zone which falls on the dc. There needs to be some in game adjustments and vs the bills we didn’t see any. Especially at the half.

Seriously can you name any game from Flores where he made adjustments at half? Or even in-game adjustments? I honestly can’t. I know you said that falls on the DC but a defensive minded head coach Better have some input on the Defense, especially if it’s crashing and burning like the last 18 games.

wasn’t the d better during the 5 of 7 games win streak last year? I think it might have been. I don’t know. I was largely about draft pick and getting a damn difference maker at qb.

if I could have hopped in a time machine I would have. I’m ready to hop in another one now until tua plays too. Cause this is going nowhere with fitz
