NO HE DIDNT BUT HE SURE DIDNT MAKE HIS MILLIONS BY SELECTING THE BEST PLAYER AVA,AND sure didnt make his mills in football you dont have to know football to be rich all im saying leave something you dont know about to people that knows ,and has experence . lets just say i have enogh money to put a transmission in my car but im not a macanic ,i need to go get some one that has exeperence in that kinda stuff.

The information is what's unbelievable. If you believe this, you'll believe just about anything. You REALLY think Ross and Ireland are letting "people in the league" know who they want and that they disagree? Come on bro. If this WERE true, then I'd say the guy you hire is simple. Ross wants philbin and Ireland wants McCoy therefore the best coach for the job would be Philbin or even Bowles but the worse candidate is McCoy if thats who Ireland wants. If Ross let Ireland do what he wanted we'd be stuck with Orton right now. Come to think of it, Ross should start asking Ireland to list 5 guys he wants with each pick in each round and put them in order of preference and Ross should draft the guy he likes the least out of those 5. We might accidentally end up with an impact player, something Ireland hasnt accomplish since coming to Miami. All his impact players have come via trade or signing.
I think this fan base has reached an all time low. First time I see people already looking forward to firing the new head coach, and one hasn't even been hired yet.
They say Eagles fans are bad, but......

Ross doesnt select the players and Im sure he's well aware he isnt qualified to do so. Hiring a coach is a different animal. I'm sure Ross is more than qualified to run an interview process and pick a coach based on who he thinks is going to be the best leader and get the most out of his players as well as listen to his answers involving football questions that Im sure Ireland asks. Not to be an ******* but instead of hiring a MECHANIC with EXPERIENCE to put in your transmission, you should hire someone who can spell to do your typing. :)

Welcome to almost every fanbase nowadays. Blame the internet culture if you wish. Everyone wants instant gratification now and everything is a knee-jerk reaction. Unless you're a fan of a team that wins year in and year out and is an annual Super Bowl contender, you're going to see mostly bitching and negativity. That's just the way it is. When the team wins, people will stop being so skeptical. A lot of people sadly just are not able to think for themselves anymore. That's why you see freaking out and whining over every single little blurb or article written about the team. They take it as gospel. Look at everyone on this site campaigning for coaches they really don't know a damn thing about. It's all pretty silly if you think about it-both the whining and the neverending optimism and apologist behavior by others.

Wow.. it's unbelievable how out of touch people are. If you invested 1 billion dollars, you simply would hand over the kingdom to anyone and tell you who to hire. He's done that long enough. IF, and thats a big IF, because this story IMO is bogus... There is no way I'd let Ireland hire the guy I didn't want.

If I invested a team for a billion dollars, I would select football people that know what they are doing to make the major decisions for the team. Like or not Ireland is that guy.
Stephen Ross is an expert in real estate not football.
i think with philbin we will have a better over all team, he will be bringing in some of the other assistants with him, and the franchise will have some winners since they came from a winning franchise. all former packer assistants have done good, they have a good track record, so why not philbin

If I told you I BELIEVE that Ross wants Bowles and Ireland wants a make-over, would you believe me too? Or only if I had a microphone in my hand? You REALLY believe that Ross and Ireland are calling "people around the league" and telling them BEFORE hiring a coach that they already have their minds made up on who they want and that the disagree? Before a 2nd interview? Im sure they have their favorites right now but you REALLY think they'd go around telling people in the league this? You're gullible dude.
