My own take, I think Ross is too much of a "threat" guy. He wants people to fear him so he doesn't have to make difficult decisions.
There are certain things being reported that seem more definite than others. And that worries me. If you assess "fact" in the media as volume of reports or credible source, I think the following is "fact":
"Facts"
Tannehill is done in Miami. I've not heard a single report discrediting this notion.
Tannenbaum is done in Miami. Again, this is clearly reiterated without much counter.
"Still being decided" - Dependent on successor availability
Gase's job is in "jeopardy". He said he doesn't have to lobby for his job. We've also heard distant rumblings with Harbaugh names in the mix. I honestly think Gase can save his job today based on performance. But I also think this is more directly tied to Ross' confidence he has a successor in play.
Burke has been a non-news story. I think Burke's fate is in Gase's hands.
Grier has been mentioned a few times, but not solely tied to TB's fate. I also think Grier's fate is in Gase's hands.
I think Ross' real decision is whether he wants to keep Gase. His indecision alone tells me he does not have a successor cemented. I think Ross is the "team who has inquired about John Harbaugh". It has already denounced by Ross/Michigan that Jim is staying. But I think John is the option in play.
My opinion;
If John Harbaugh is available and a wink deal is in place, we will have an entire house cleaning.
If not, RT gone, TB gone, Grier stays and Gase stays. I wouldn't be surprise if we have a new "real" OC that Gase surrenders the "majority" of play calling, Burke is gone and maybe another assistant is sacrificed. Gase will have to make changes on his own staff to show response to this season's results. (change for change's sake)
