Should Fins take a chance on Tebow?

I will jump on this bandwagon. I think Tebow as the #2 or 3 is fine. I don't know is he is a starter yet. But the kid has great heart and decent talent. I think he can be an interesting addition if he is cheap. Better than having O'Donnel or Devlin at #3.

The Wildcat did not work last year cause of the line, Fins have made moves along the line and if Friday was any indication of how this line can perform running the ball, then the Wildcat could work again. The Wildcat is effective in the NFL, the Dolphins have proven that.

wrong...the wildcat did not work last year cause the nfls figured it out...its played out garbage...the wildcat was effective 3 damn years ago due to the element of surprise...since then its been heading steadily south...teams weren't prepared for it when we broke it out but they are now...hell they've been prepared for it for 2 years now

you wanna waste downs run that crap

This is not exactly the friendliest board I have ever seen. Especially if you are not one of the chosen few. I feel like I am the only one who doesn't know everybody, like if you walk into a bar and everyone stops talking and turns around to look at you.
Real classy place you guys are running here, god forbid someone shares an idea the little message board gang does not like. I would not be bothered if some of you gave valid points as to why you don't like the guy but ripping the idea or the player is ridiculous.

What a ridiculous set of responses to an idea that every fanbase in the league would at least talk about if Tebow is let go. Just embarrassing to read the "debating" of a legitimate, relevant NFL question.

I've followed the Broncos very closely and Tebow flat can't play QB. He's got an NFL build and a Pat White QB skillset. A reporter watching him warm up before the Broncos first preseason game said he was the most innacurate QB warming up. Had a hard time getting the ball to the other guy with no pressure. If his innaccuracy wasn't enough, he is strictly a one read and run QB. He rarely if ever gets to his second read before pulling it down and running.
IMO he has zero percent chance and being a serviceable QB and will need to change positions to stay in the league. He is the fourth best QB in Broncos camp behind an UDFA QB and that is a fact.

If Tebow gets cut and Patriots & Eagles signed him what would you guys say and be honest. You all would say OMG Belichick is going to turn Tebow into a monster, OMG Andy Reid will fix Tebow's throwing motion and he we be amazing. Tebow's stats are not bad at all and I don't care what anyone says the guy can play. Just last year everyone was sniffing his jock after final games in Denver. I don't want him to replace Henne, all I want is a contributor, a Wildcat Triggerman, a Goal Line threat.

Think outside the box for once guys.

As "wildcat formation" uses a direct snap for a RB in order to run or pass, and given Tebow is a QB/TE/FB not a RB, so he won't serve as a "Wildcat Triggerman". But he could serve as a very different ingredient for Daboll's creative offense.

Figure him as TE/FB playing with Henne on red zone and you might understand how serviceable can be.

Brad Smith did a good job with it with Jets and now with the Bills.....its more about being athletic and making the correct reads......I think we will see it used early this yr and depending on the success will determine how much we use it...

Would love to see Bush in the Rickie roll and Gates in the Patrick Cobbs role with Thomas in the Ronnie roll...better speed all the way around...if the decision making is there it could be awesome

I don't have a problem with signing him if he is released, if we intend to run a wildcat scheme as a change of pace, or as a goal line scoring formation utilizing tebows dual threat capabilities.

It also wouldn't hurt to have him as a long term developmental type guy, but I wouldn't trade much for him if anything.

The issues with Tebow go beyond his odd throwing motion and inaccuracy. The guy doesn't get it. He doesn't even know where to go with the ball! Once he figures out where to go with the ball, then you can work on his delivery and inaccuracy issues. Guy is a major project

Before I get shredded to peaces hear me out, me wanting the Dolphins to acquire Tebow has nothing to do with Henne. Henne is the starter. After Pryor was drafted today several reports have come out stating that the Dolphins were very much interested in Pryor as a project QB and Wildcat triggerman. Now that rumors and talk around the league is Tebow could be traded or release I ask myself if the Dolphins would be interested.

New rules state that your #3 QB could come in the game at anytime. If Im the Dolphins I see I have O'Connell and an inexperience Pat Devlin and I ask myself why not add a QB who can be my wildcat triggerman and contribute. Long story short if Tebow were to be released or traded I would love Miami to be the team he goes to. Tebow could bring back the WildCat and be a Goal Line threat which the Dolphins continue to search for in a RB or TE.

Tebow Blows. 2nd this regime will be done after this year.... NO MORE bush league wildcat crap.

I love all the tebow haters... You know a player is good when everyone becomes an expert on you... knowing 70% of the people screaming he sucks has never actually seen the guy play... bandwagon suckers... hahaha.... well all you henne lovers... goto NFL.com and look up tim tebow vs chad henne... tebows qb rating is higher. Now dont come on here and say "tebow only played a couple games" blah blah blah.... excuses... excuses... excuses...

denver will not let tebow go anyways, the NFL is a business - and when your jersey sales are #1... you dont let him go.
