The Wildcat did not work last year cause of the line, Fins have made moves along the line and if Friday was any indication of how this line can perform running the ball, then the Wildcat could work again. The Wildcat is effective in the NFL, the Dolphins have proven that.
Real classy place you guys are running here, god forbid someone shares an idea the little message board gang does not like. I would not be bothered if some of you gave valid points as to why you don't like the guy but ripping the idea or the player is ridiculous.
If Tebow gets cut and Patriots & Eagles signed him what would you guys say and be honest. You all would say OMG Belichick is going to turn Tebow into a monster, OMG Andy Reid will fix Tebow's throwing motion and he we be amazing. Tebow's stats are not bad at all and I don't care what anyone says the guy can play. Just last year everyone was sniffing his jock after final games in Denver. I don't want him to replace Henne, all I want is a contributor, a Wildcat Triggerman, a Goal Line threat.
Think outside the box for once guys.
As "wildcat formation" uses a direct snap for a RB in order to run or pass, and given Tebow is a QB/TE/FB not a RB, so he won't serve as a "Wildcat Triggerman". But he could serve as a very different ingredient for Daboll's creative offense.
Figure him as TE/FB playing with Henne on red zone and you might understand how serviceable can be.

Before I get shredded to peaces hear me out, me wanting the Dolphins to acquire Tebow has nothing to do with Henne. Henne is the starter. After Pryor was drafted today several reports have come out stating that the Dolphins were very much interested in Pryor as a project QB and Wildcat triggerman. Now that rumors and talk around the league is Tebow could be traded or release I ask myself if the Dolphins would be interested.
New rules state that your #3 QB could come in the game at anytime. If Im the Dolphins I see I have O'Connell and an inexperience Pat Devlin and I ask myself why not add a QB who can be my wildcat triggerman and contribute. Long story short if Tebow were to be released or traded I would love Miami to be the team he goes to. Tebow could bring back the WildCat and be a Goal Line threat which the Dolphins continue to search for in a RB or TE.
