Since we now have a significant stockpile of draft picks, does it make that much difference if we start winning a few gamws?

If Chase Young OSU DE is graded equal or better than Jadeveon Clowney, I have to entertain the idea that a DE goes No 1.

It's not about having early picks, it's about having the 1st pick. Tua is heads and shoulders better than any other QB option coming out next year. He is likely to be a once in a decade QB option and has the best chance of being a future HOF'er. If we don't land the 1st pick, you can have picks 2, 3, 4, and 5 and all of those picks wouldn't be enough to incent Washington or Cincy to trade out of the 1st pick. They will take Tua no matter what.

Given the level of talent on this team, it's going to be very hard for us to see any coaching progression. They simply do not have anything to work with.

I can assure you, if we win this game, we maybe win 1 or 2 more and at 3-13 we are out of the Tua running. If we lose, that allows us to win 1 from here on out and still have a good shot at getting him.

I appreciate your response and understand your rational. I just don't agree with it.

I suspect we will need to wait until mid-season 2020 to see what actually happened. Then we can make up stories to explain what happened. We may not be right, but we can certainly use a year of history to develop a reasonable explanation about the how and why of what the Dolphins are doing, as compared to to the speculations we are all generating at this point to support our own opinions.

I just hope we all share the same goal of a Dolphins team that plays competitive football and wins enough to get into the playoffs. After that, it's anybody's guess as to where we end up.

It looks to me, like there are too many either you go this direction, or failure...to those people a reminder...we will have 3 first round picks, 7 picks alone in the first three rounds.

The way I see it is...If Miami in the draft ends up picking players in the 1st round to compliment Rosen, I will be chearing, and drunk from celebrating, because that means Rosen probably looked amazing for the rest of the season to allow them to not take a QB early.

If they take Tua, I will probably be cheering, and probably by the time he reaches the podium, will drunk from celebrating, because that means Rosen did not do enough to make anyone believe he is the future, but they were in position to take the supposed top QB of the 2020 draft.

If they take Herbert, Fromm, Eason, Ehlinger, Love...I will still be very happy, because though Rosen did not do enough to distinguish himself, and Miami did not pick high enough to take Tua, these are still quality QB that with good talent around them, any of them could end up being good to special.

If who we take this year does not work out, we have again two 1st round picks in 2021 to yet again, take a QB if we need one, and I will again be excited, and drunk from celebrating.

Basically what I am trying to say is no matter where Miami picks, we are getting a quality QB in 2020, and if we don't, we still have 2021.

And also no matter where Miami picks, I will probably be drunk from celebrating.

Seriously though, Miami in the next two years is getting a 1990s Dallas Cowboy type Drafting bounty to re-establish the winning ways again of the 1970s, 80s, and 90s, so just sit back and ride the draft waves coming up...should be fun.

Bingo.

I try not to belittle those who are logically impaired... Generally, I just ignore your posts. I have you on my 'bless his heart' list.

You gonna ride the Rosen bandwagon once hes a backup on another team?

No way Tua doesnt go first unless he loses his left arm.

Nah, that stuff never happens, except to Miami players. Thanks for reminding me.

Now you have cursed Tua with a typical Miami scenario. What do we do for our next QB selection?

Is that supposed to be an insult? Come on bro you can do better than that. I mean you obviously think you know more than most posters in here. Narcissistic personality disorder, look it up, it fits your disposition to the T.
