Without digging deeper than I care to spend the time to do, with only 1 or possibly 2 exceptions, none of the teams in those examples had any sort of sustained success.Teams have done it before, including us
Ranking the Top 10 One-Year Turnarounds in NFL History
Now that the 2013-14 NFL season is officially over, it is time to look ahead to the offseason. Fans of the Seattle Seahawks will spend their time basking in the knowledge that their team is unquestionably the best in the league...www.google.com
I don't think the game last night changes much. The Seattle game will be telling for sure. I see a few players that have done well in the 3 games but as far as doing great in all 3 games, I don't see one player that has done that. There has been ups and downs(more downs than ups) but that's to be expected with a young team. 3 games is really not enough to tell, specially since there were no pre season games.
I would also add that Fitz is very intelligent and extremely wise (experienced and quite able to apply that experience effectively). In other words, he can make chicken salad with chicken **** consistently. Without those attributes, he'd most likely get sacked, injured and/or be a turnover machine much more often than he is. This also makes him an outstanding mentor for our young stud, Tua.It isn't about bad or good.
We're a young team with an ancient, weak armed, gutty quarterback.
We are learning as we go, and we have a very long way to go.
All the pieces of this rebuild are not in place yet.
Whooping some a$$ occasionally (like last night) is certainly enjoyable, but we're building to be "good" sometime next year and moving forward.
It's laughable to me that no matter who we play this is how it pans out...
before the game:
OMG that team has been blah blah blah and in the first 2 games they blah blah blah ... we are going to get burned and buried for sure... fire Grier
game ends and the score was close but we lose ...
Damn ... bonehead plays... grant can't catch a damn cold ... good fitz bad fitz ... fire Grier....
game ends and we won...
we just beat a bad team ... just wait til we actually play somebody ...fire Grier
I think this team is coming together and regardless of who we play they SHOULD be on notice.....
The Dolphins have been "trending" upward since game 10 last season.... have some faith
