Sunday Ticket without Directv?

Yeah, again - just go to the bar & yell at the TV with everyone else.

Tell 'em Bump sent 'ya

I thought they blocked that

i get together with a couple of family members and we all split the bill, very easy to do, all you have to do is know someone that has dtv get them to add a new receiver or lend you one of theirs. get a used dish (there cheap) and dont plug the receiver into the phone line and your home free.

Stealing TV signal is done everyday. The local bar here in town (dive beer joint) is doing this at this very moment.
He has a residential account, but has one receiver at the establishment.
Not exactly sure how he gets away with it. But I know a cable TV guy helped him with it.
He has two dishes out back. A directv dish and Dish Network dish.
Its stealing no matter how you cut it. Those receivers are supposed to be in his home, not in his bar.

You could also get a Roku and a sling box. You can stream every channel a subscriber gets in their monthly subscription directly to your TV. All you need is internet service. It's a one time cost of about $200 for the equipment but it works great. So I've heard.

you can't get sunday ticket on roku. At least legally you can't. I've heard of tampered with models having some illegal success.

I works for me, I bought an old dish for a camp we have and I take one of my receivers with me, only difference is during football season that receiver goes to my dads, and we split the bill. its still being paid for its just not at my house, I still use it when I visit after the fins game each sunday

No you can't. But if they have NFL Sunday Ticket Max and a slingbox you can watch it on your roku by streaming the sling box.

Not trying to be a smart @#$, just wondering how would Sunday ticket max through sling box to Roku be better than just going Sunday ticket max to you laptop and connecting computer to tv? Again, I'm just curious.

"If" Roku has an app for slingbox, it would be better quality.

I hear what you are saying.

#1. The quality is way better.

#2. I just don't like hooking the laptop to the TV. Me and the boy get a little crazy while watching the Fins so it would inevitably get broken.

#3. I also do it for simplicity because I don't have DirecTV, we have cable. We live in a historic district in Minneapolis so we aren't allowed to put anything on our roofs and with the trees around we can't get a signal from a ground dish in the backyard (we could if it was placed in the front yard but there is no way my wife would ever let that happen). I even called DirecTV and told them my situation but since I am in market and can get a signal from the front yard they won't them me do it. So I do the next best thing and just use a slingbox and my Roku to connect to my parents subscription. If figure if you won't work with me than screw it, I'll just get it on my own.

I just come to this board and go to the game thread and ask if some one has a link to the game. Somebody has always linked one for me.

For the people suggesting links to illegal streams, I've done that every year except last year and its just such a hassle. I need have like a much high internet speed for those to look good enough to watch (whereas directv's stream was okay) and not to mention all the pop ups, or if the stream is randomly closed down, etc.

My girlfriend's mom has great internet though, thats how I watch most games last year. So I assume those illegal ways would be better over there, but still, meh. I talked to a friend about getting the mobile access and he's willing to. So thats a positive

I dont have Direct TV and was always able to get it through the PS3 for $300 then last year they stopped allowing it through PS3 because of the NFL's Deal with Microsoft, but I was still able to get Sunday ticket through my computer for $300 without Direct Tv
