Tannehill Having Best Year Of His Career.

Football Outsiders has him ranked as the 28th best passer, which is his worst ranking for them over his career. The guys he's ahead of:
J. Rosen (rookie)
J. Allen (rookie)
S. Darnold (rookie)
B. Bortles (benched)
D. Prescott

Lol. Every year the qbs change but tannehill stays around 28th in dvoa. There is a non significant chance that Osweiler will end up with a better dvoa this year.

sound like F/O will try fix every thing around qb...time they try do that thill17 will be to old.

Or tannehill is consistently below average. Rookies come in who are already better than him and some qbs retire or have a bad year.

Ryan Tannehill’s PFF grade is last among 37 qualifying quarterbacks this season, just below backup quarterback Brock Osweiler's.

Ryan Tannehill has been sacked on 30.1% of the times that he has been pressured this season, the highest-rate for any QB in the league, according to ProFootballFocus.

Tannehills passer rating under pressure this year is 8th best.

And his snap to sack time is 15th which puts him middle of the pack. 3.11 seconds

It’s mind boggling how we are still debating the merits of Tanneyhill. Just move the F on already from this guy.

Watch this week he goes for 440 4/0 lol

Fat chance, tannehill has never had a game like that. Even if he does finally have a monster game, so what, so has Fitzpatrick.

Time to change this mediocre culture and that starts with the QB. Need a real culture change.

I wouldn’t really put much weight in that time to throw stat. A qb who buys time will make it seem like his offense line is better and teams that don’t go deep and run a lot of we screens will seem like they have a bad oline

I was pretty disappointed in the performance by Ryan against Vikings. Granted the team didn’t start well giving up 21 points and 200 yards in 1st quarter. But the defense made some plays and got us back in the games in 2nd. Stills let him down with drop before half that forced us to settle for FG. Then the big run got us to 21-17. Then nothing from offense. There were chances in those 3rd quarter drives to take control of game but Ryan missed his throws badly. Despite the pressure there were plays to be made in those drives he just couldn’t elevate his play. Once Ryan and offense start failing you can expect the defense to crumble. Seen this before many times in critical games. Very disappointing.
