That is not true. There are very recent examples of Mahomes and Burrow. I think Allen did enough. Before that Wilson, Kaepernick, Goff, Newton I think in 5th year, Big Ben, and so on, Marino did it. There are plenty. That's the bar for extension.

i don't think anyone is giving that but 4 1sts and at least 30M in yearly contract savings compared to a rookie and i'm listening.

Need a new and improved IGNORE button after this thread.

Every so often I will click on show ignored comments. I get curious when I see a good poster reply to one of them.

I need that ability to be taken away. I cannot be trusted with it. Reading their posts makes me less intelligent.

not even won a single playoff game yet. i am glad you are not the gm. then again, the current gm who also has not won a playoff game in his 20 years here, may not be much more thoughtful!
