Tua and his family seem like decent people.
But i think it's critical, in general, to remember these are still people.
Albeit in Tua's case one with a unique talent.
I think when you combine that with his reported upbringing and reported family dynamics it opens the door to boarderline reverance that attempts to transcend.

There are also biases out there towards players that don't wear crosses on their faces.
You just kinda have to be able to know what to pay attention to and what's just noise. You're always going to see every extreme at both ends and everything in between.

On New Year's Eve, Tuanigamanuolepola Tagovailoa resolved to lose 10 pounds.

The next morning he shaved his chest and smiled as he lost 20.

Once, a cobra bit Tuanigamanuolepola Tagovailoa's repaired hip. After 5 days of excruciating pain, the cobra died.
Brett Favre can still throw a football well over 50 yards. Tuanigamanuolepola Tagovailoa can throw Brett even further ... through peanut butter.
Can't decide which one is funnier, but these two are my favorites. You're on a roll!

Might be a rumor but I’ve heard that Tua has counted to infinity three times.

And that the FAA declared the space above the stadium he plays at as hostile airspace due to his accuracy and arm strength
