Tua vs Trevor - The Truth: Analysis

Yea there's no way Clemson is better than Bama by 28, If Tua doesn't throw those picks ya might of won, ya had 4 wrs with potential to go day 1 plus Irv Smith, but only putting up 16 is a bad look.

LSU defense has speed unlike the Big 12.

It’s called coaching. All Bama’s offensive coaches were more worried about their next jobs than preparing for Clemson.

That and Clemson was just more physical on both lines of scrimmage. We got in the red zone 4 or 5 times and came away with zero points. Bad play calls and an offensive line that couldn’t run block. Still can’t.

If ya get by LSU, Auburn and win the SEC, ya will get the chance to get payback for that L, Clemson has an easy road to the National Championship so they will be there.

Clemson should be in the playoffs. The ACC is weaker than 7A in the state of Alabama this year.

But you never know when Clempson is gonna Clempson. They’re known for making it a verb. Dabo hates it.

C'mon man, any conference with two Florida teams, Florida State and Miami deserves more respect then that, no state produces more football talent than Florida. Cali and Texas are 2nd and 3rd.

Calling the ACC 7A Alabama football is just too disrespectful lol.

Well, truth is the U and FSU have fallen dramatically + badly...

But the HS talent in FL is irrefutable.

BTW whatever happened to all those Western PA QBs?

Must be the water...

Maybe back in the day - but it’s an awful conference now. They’ve already been beaten by the Citadel and Kansas and we’re not even out of September.

The high school talent in Florida is tremendous, but most of em at FSU or Miami don’t develop. They go elsewhere to win championships and develop.

The kids with top shelf talent are ill-advised to NOT take the groovy gravy train and
in ain't in FL no mo. Obviously we all know the SEC dominates now and it's getting
dangerously close to semi PRO league vs. pure amateurs at this point.

I don't see "small" private universities like the U ever competing with the huge hogs again.

UCF is more likely to win a National Championship before Miami IMO.

It would take the second coming of Schnellenberger / JJ + Bobby Bowden to make a difference...

Yea the main issue is recruiting, our 5 star players tend to go to winning schools like Alabama,Ohio State,Clemson,LSU,Georgia. Those recruits are too young to remember the 90's and early 00's when the U,Seminoles and the Gators stayed in the Top ten.

I’m old enough to remember when we used to schedule Miami as home coming fodder. I think Miami is taking on the shape of the type of program they were always supposed to be outside of the 80’s and 90’s.

Clemson benefits from the same ACC that Florida St. did back in the 90’s - everybody is just bad. They just don’t play anybody until post season play starts.

UCF,USF,FIU and FAU are doing well as far as recognition.

UM just needs to recruit a QB ( we may finally have 1 that's decent but that OL is horrible)

Watching Fromm tonight continues to confirm that he will be an good QB....in the right system (oh those famous words). One of the analysts refers to QBs at "trucks" or "trailers"...are they pulling the offense along, or are they along for the ride. Fromm seems like he is along for the ride.

I feel like we need that top pick, because no one besides maybe Love (I've only watched him once for a game and highlights) move the needle the way Tua does.
