Tua's closest statistacal comparison from 2021

Tua is a qb god. Brian Flores is an idiot coach. The ol stinks and offensive weapons were terrible. And still somehow, tua defeated these qb’s in starts:

Rookie Mac Jones x2, rookie Zach Wilson, washed up cam newton, career backup Mike glennon, washed up Joe flacco, and rookie 4th stringer Ian book

He is beyond reproach. Anyone who dare question the tua cult shall get the djokovic treatment and be deported from the forum. He is our qb god. Bow down to our leader, king of the skip pass, Tua!

Now do W/L percentage of all QBs in NFL history with at least 50 starts and see where Marino ranks and the list of scrubs he ranks behind.

How many games should be played before W/L record even becomes remotely valuable when comparing 2 individual players?
Dan Marino has a career record of 147-93. Go ahead and look at numbers for guys who started 100+ games. That’s pretty dang good. (50+ is too small a sample when comparing to other players’ entire careers—not fair to compare a mediocre player’s prime to 38 year old Dan Marino.)

Guys if you attack other posters personally your post will be deleted

We don't do that here.

Half this board uses The Dolphins’ record after less than 30 games with Tua as the starter as a defense against Herbert being superior so far.

I absolutely agree 50 is too small a sample size, as is 30. Go down to few enough games and are all 1-0 QBs are automatically better than 0-1?

Team W/L record for a QB as a starter is a good supplemental stat, not the primary one, IMO.
