Even with all that, I still believe half the league would happily scoop up Tua for two firsts. Teams spend that much on an unproven rookie while Tua is a known factor, he has performed at the top of the league for 2 years now and he is young has been improving every year. Plenty of teams would take that over what they haveDepends on who it is, how old they are, how consistent they have been, etc.
In this case I have my doubts. Not because I dislike Tua, but because I think, for one thing, there are many GMs who prefer bigger, stronger, faster. For another, not every coach has a philosophy similar to McDs. For another, it would depend a lot on where a particular team was at in the building process. For example, if they see themselves a a couple years away from being Championship competitive, it really wouldn't make sense to go that direction.
